## What is CASIO ClassPad?

ClassPad comes equipped to perform complex calculations, draw graphs, and to use a computer algebra system (CAS) to investigate mathematics and solve problems. It has a user interface in the style of the handheld ClassPad, a tool used in classrooms worldwide.

-eActivity
eActivity lets you input math expressions and textual explanations in files that can then be used as worksheets.
-Spreadsheet
In addition to standard spreadsheet calculations, this app also provides statistical chart analysis and statistical calculation capabilities.
-Geometry
Geometry makes it possible for students to grasp relationships between figures using number tables and animations.
-Physium

●Monthly Subscription
・Subscription Fee and Period
A subscription costs $1.99 per month (calculated from your date of purchase), automatically renewed each month until you cancel your subscription.
Billing is through your iTunes account.

・Automatic Renewal Details
Subscriptions are renewed automatically as long as the subscriber does not cancel the subscription at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Billing for an automatically renewed subscription will be performed within 24 hours after the auto renewal.

Unglaublich schlechtes Overlay und unfreundliche Bedienung. Das Monatsabo funktioniert auch nicht und man zahlt 1,99 umsonst.

Diese App sieht aus wie aus dem Jahre 1990 und lässt sich auch so bedienen.Diese App ist nur etwas für Leute die mit der neunen Technik nicht klar kommen und schäbige Sachen bevorzugen. Als Schüler würde ich diese App niemandem empfehlen außer man hat 20 mal die fünfte Klasse wiederholt.

Als jemand, der sich auf das Abitur vorbereitet, sollte eine Taschenrechner-App ein zuverlässiges Werkzeug sein, das die benötigten mathematischen Funktionen präzise und fehlerfrei ausführt. Leider ist diese App das genaue Gegenteil. Besonders auffällig – und absolut inakzeptabel – ist die Tatsache, dass die mathematischen Variablen schlichtweg nicht funktionieren.

Das Konzept, Variablen in Berechnungen zu verwenden, gehört zu den absoluten Grundlagen der Mathematik und ist im Abitur von entscheidender Bedeutung. Viele Aufgaben erfordern das Speichern und Wiederverwenden von Werten, das Lösen von Gleichungen mit mehreren Unbekannten oder das Arbeiten mit Funktionsgleichungen. Wenn diese App es nicht einmal schafft, grundlegende Variablen korrekt zu verarbeiten, ist sie nicht nur unbrauchbar, sondern eine ernsthafte Gefahr für jeden Schüler, der darauf angewiesen ist. Fehlerhafte Ergebnisse oder fehlende Speicherfunktionen können zu gravierenden Missverständnissen und falschen Lösungen führen.

Es ist schwer, den Ernst der Lage zu unterstreichen: Ein Abitur – eine der wichtigsten Prüfungen im Leben – könnte aufgrund solch eines technischen Versagens gefährdet sein. Die Tatsache, dass die Entwickler anscheinend nicht in der Lage sind, dieses Problem zu beheben, zeigt, dass sie den kritischen Anforderungen, die an solch eine App gestellt werden, nicht gerecht werden.

Für eine App, die mit Bildung und Prüfungen in Verbindung steht, ist dies ein unverzeihlicher Fehler. Wer diese App für ernsthafte mathematische Aufgaben nutzt, riskiert, wertvolle Punkte im Abitur zu verlieren – und das nur aufgrund von Softwarefehlern. Hände weg, wenn eure Zukunft euch wichtig ist!

Ich wurde von meiner Schule dazu gezwungen, diese furchtbare App mir für den Mathe Unterricht zu installieren.Wenn jemand auf die Idee kommt, dieses Programm freiwillig zu kaufen, rate dieser Person dringend davon ab.Nicht nur, dass Casio behauptet, dass meine 30 Euro teure Lizenz nicht gültig sei, stürzt die App ständig ab und ist nichtmal in der Lage, Split Screen zu benutzen.Dazu kommt noch, dass ich mir dieses sch”iss 2 Euro Monats Abo holen musste.Nach einmaligen ausloggen, behauptete die App, dass InApp Käufe “verboten”.Ich verfluche diesen dreckigen “Taschenrechner”.

I have just got a new iPad and loaded the Casio ClassPad app which I have been using successfully for a number of years. It is now freezing. I restarted my iPad a few times. Deleted and reinstalled the app.  I have the subscribed version.

Für mich als Lehrerin, ist es praktisch, dass ich den ClassPad über die App auf dem iPad öffnen und mit dem Display im Klassenzimmer verbinden kann. So können die Schüler*innen Schritt für Schritt die Eingabe nachvollziehen. Leider sind einige Eingabeschritte nicht umsetzbar. Eine Stärke des ClassPad ist es, dass Terme und Gleichungen markiert und per Drag & Drop weiterverwendet werden können. Nach dem Markieren eines Ausdrucks reagiert die App jedoch nicht und stürzt ab. Sehr schade… 
Die Funktion des Splitscreens würde die Anwenderfreundlichkeit weiter erhöhen.

Laut Bedienungsanleitung soll man ein Programm sowohl im Main Menu als auch in einer eActivity ausführen können. Leider kann man es in der iOS app nur im Main Menu ausführen, in der eActivity nicht.
