CREATE | INSPIRE | PERFORM Welcome to Sacramento! 2024 CASMEC Professional Development Clinics include sessions on student engagement and retention strategies, inclusivity and diversity in your music program, pedagogy from fundamentals to advanced techniques, advocacy, teacher wellness, music technology, band, orchestra, choir, jazz, general classroom music, world music, special learners, composition, improvisation, music literature selection and flex-use, and more. For more detailed schedule information, please read below. The session descriptions and conference schedule will be made available on the CASMEC website, www.casmec.org. You will also be able to enjoy concerts by all of the 17 California All-State Ensembles, which will be performing in Sacramento during the CASMEC weekend. Pre-registration will be open September 2023 through early January 2024 at www.casmec.org. Please read our website for more information regarding the deadline. After the deadline, registration would then only be available onsite at the conference.
