I’m sure I’ll get used to the new version, however, I wish there was still a way to use the old layout, it was way more intuitive. ### 3/5 — It’s about time lol. Unpolished *2026-05-24* The old app was horribly old. This app is a huge upgrade. It has a number of unpolished and unintuitive things. I haven’t spent much time in the app. Text fields don’t auto capitalize for one. Spelling corrections I think is an issue. When you are logged in and want to message someone, you have to enter a name, you are already logged in. Nope, it says name, you have to enter an email address. I AM ALREADY LOGGED IN! The old app didn’t have this problem. No recent search history, except maybe the last one, yet doesn’t auto delete if you start to type. Search bar not intuitive. ### 2/5 — Terrible on iPad now *2026-04-19* All of a sudden when you press the back arrow, the app becomes a small window and you have to close it completely and restart it. And no more sliding to the next story. Brent’s wealth and development needs for ALR lands certainly meets Basran’s profile of governance I am not wealthy, I own no companies or speculation lands but I vote. When you use it on wifi the content is boring at best and amateurish. ### 1/5 — Video Glitch *2026-05-20* I tried to watch a video but got stock in it. I couldn’t get back to castanet main menu. For years, I never had a problem with that app. This refresh has glitches. I have given up on the app for my tablet. Landscape mode is terrible. The window gets so small, I can’t see the words. Can’t search for specifics in rentals like classifieds. Frustrating app. Go to website at times. This has to be some of the most bias I have ever read! It’s gets worse every year as I try to get news from here every so often and each time I am more horrified what people are reading!
