Most of the other merge games have no effort put into them, but this on is way different. No random ads cluttering the game, only toggle able banner ads that give you a bonus if it’s on. Also when you merge the towers there’s a really cool animation of the two combining into the next level. The only thing I can still do is upgrade the barrels in the bar which are all gold. The shields stop upgrading after they turn blue, the game just kind of ends without telling you. You can play 100% of this game with no ads. You’re given the option to watch a 30 second ad at your leisure for extra currencies, but it’s not required at all. Though I should add that watching them can be very worth your while. All in all, a solid time waster. I woke up at 9am Monday, I play this game, when I look at the clock its 1am Tuesday. A great idle with good assets and nice story. The thing that I like the most is that while there are ads, it doesnt really force us to look at them or watch them. There are no random ads that pop up during gameplay. Thanks to the developers for all your hard work, for being conscientious of your players wants & needs, and I hope you either continue developing this game, or that you develop sequels to it that build on this solid foundation and sticks to the minimal advertising theme!!!! ### 5/5 — An innovative Idle clicker combined with the combination games *2020-02-15, version 1.35* I love it I have been playing for hours and enjoying my time being distracted by it The only issue I found was I couldn’t use the perks of leveling up as whenever I clicked the rank or the number next to it nothing happened After I enabled banner ads it could see it partially for a second in the banner area To test it I switched over to my Pocophone and I see that it drops down to the entire screen and now I know how it looks and works The game definitely looks better and works better on the iPad and I prefer to play it on it. Would be very glad if you fix this bug I changed my review since the upgrades menu came when I held my iPad vertically, sad it doesn’t work horizontally ### 5/5 — I hate tower defense games *2020-02-14, version 1.35* I have always found tower defense games rather unfair because there is no let up on the enemy as you try to strengthen your towers. This game does! Or the enemy becomes so powerful that you can’t up grade fast enough. This game has powerful enemies but they never surpass the strength of your weapons. Also the background and area you fight in gets redundant. This game starts you in one area but after the weapons reach a certain point you are given another area to fight in which is great. You lose nothing from the previous area because you go back to that area to get scraps (the needed commodity) build your weapons up then their scraps go to towers in the other area. The other really cool thing is you don’t need to spend ANY real money. The music is great, the graphics are great, basically the whole game is great. I am definitely going to be keeping this game. This IS the best defense tower game I have ever played. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money! *2020-04-08, version 1.52* It was a fun idle game. Good story at first but just goes into a loop, don’t worry won’t spoil... anyways, I thought with them adding heroes where you can send on adventure would make it interesting. It was at first but now... well the game makes no sense. Example: I have a level 34 hero Strength 353 Endurance 302 and Wisdom 465. I send him on a level 32 quest and he is down to 7 hit points out of 302 with in 5 minutes. Same guy and I sent on a level 24 quest, 240 hit points left after an 1 1/2 hours. No support to ask questions of, just glad I didn’t waste any money. ### 1/5 — Certain things should be brought up though I don’t want to go into details right now. *2019-11-05, version 1.17* I greatly enjoy this game and have invested ALOT OF TIME INTO IT. Literally almost too much time to have as little as I have. I’d appreciate some tips on how to properly upgrade the towers on the trail! I mean are the war elephants supposed to be stopped by the towers you build?????? Oh and the ridiculous way you build a tower. You have to make the strongest turret on your keep by combining them till a tower is made and then there’s no anything to inform you that is what’s happened when the cannon disappears. ### 2/5 — Dont waste your time on this game *2019-12-15, version 1.32* Seriously don’t unless they update it. Like seriously??? A CHANCE for a better crate??? This is the only game I know that does this and it’s annoying, you spend a lot of time and in game money to upgrade for a CHANCE of a better crate. When you’re trying to summon level 4 crates and need one more to upgrade BAM! You get thrown a level 1, which makes it hard to enjoy a merging game like this. Really ruins my merge game experience. CHANGE THIS! ### 3/5 — It’s enjoyable but... *2020-05-25, version 1.65* The idea of of a merging mixed with a classic tower defense game is great I love it, it becomes a grind very fast though and while it’s fun to play it’s not fun enough to warrant spending money to get further into, there’s an idle quest aspect too on the side but it’s clunky and doesn’t seem to do much outside of itself kind of seems forced in to the game overall if you have an hour you want to immediately kill I recommend but not a long haul game ### 4/5 — Great Game - want to keep Going but keeps crashing *2020-06-07, version 1.65* Great game, lots of stimuli, and you don’t need to spend money. I personally bought the gems cost discount but that’s about it. I’d like to keep playing but now that I’ve reached tier 7 on my tavern, attempting to choose to ascend keeps crashing the game. Anyone else having this problem? This would have been five stars had this not be happening. I even emailed the app support for this game and 2 weeks still no response. ### 4/5 — Fun Idle Game But Needs Improved End-Game Content *2020-06-06, version 1.65* This great idle game that doesn’t hammer you with forced ads. For me, this is huge and actually makes me want to watch a few ads to support the game. Here is my advice to the developers regarding their end game content: Once the tavern is fully upgraded there’s no where to go. What can players do with their no longer necessary soul income? Perhaps add another tier that impacts heroes? The new hero’s element is fun, but the progression and or gearing seems flawed. For example my lvl 41 hero with 700+ strength and endurance is losing a lot of health against enemies in level 20ish zones. Why?! Healing high level heroes is getting more and more difficult because I’m not generating enough meat. Since I’ve reached the end of the game I’m blowing thousands of gems buying meat and exp. ### 4/5 — Battle report fro the king *2020-03-24, version 1.40* All is well within our kingdom, as our peasant is progressing with her usual speed to new gadgets and magical weaponry so that the invading goblins are blasted away to a literal symphony of the wallmounted Gatling Cannons barrage. I’d advise a way to slow the free boxes our blacksmith provides, as the peasant often grumbles to herself as she removes two Gatling Cannons to make way for the required materials to upgrade the nearby crossbows and catapults. Forever in your service, Ranger ### 4/5 — Improvements? *2020-02-26, version 1.40* I saw this game through a mobile and and I am impressed by how good it is. I especially like the feature to turn on ads for a 15% bonus. But after the first level the towers don’t kill the enemy so it seems kind of pointless and drawn out. For example, the chain merge option (which is purchased either by gems slowly collected or by actual iTunes purchase) is sporadic in its effectiveness. Another issue is the lack of a bug reporting option. There doesn’t seem to be a way to contact the app support without leaving a review on iTunes.
