You can’t even set a throttle curve with this app. It just does not work and they have no plans to fix it. Save your money and return your B Link. ### 3/5 — Throttle curve not working properly *2023-04-04, version 3.0.2* The app mostly works with the exception of one important feature. Impossible to adjust throttle curve on iphone. Please fix this! ### 1/5 — Sending settings, crashes esc!! *2022-10-23, version 3.0.2* This app needs some work! When I connect my B-Link to my MMxLX2, it locks me out of the esc and it starts to beep rapidly whenever I try to send the settings to the esc! It always happens when I try to send the settings to the esc! Can someone please take a look at this. When this happens, I get throttle only steering. ### 2/5 — So basic and limited. Why?!? *2022-10-10, version 3.0.2* Fist they can’t fix the Futaba Mmx8s temp issue. They also have a bug where you have to set the motor in reverse and the channel on the control needs to be in reverse because it treats the input like it’s reversed and braking doesn’t work. Then this limited IOS app only works with Bluetooth when there are all kinds of usb adapters that let you do direct connect with the USB adapter but it doesn’t work :( ### 1/5 — iOS compatibility *2022-09-14, version 3.0.2* The app is terrible. The castle esc and my 6400kv motor are awesome but trying to use the app is an absolute joke. It’s slow to connect sometimes you have to power cycle the esc 3-4 times before you can connect. Torque settings won’t save or sync to the esc from the app, you can’t tune the throttle curve, the last firmware on the momba monster x was in 2018. I have to say unless they invest more money into the b-link software I won’t buy another because it was the selling point for me to spend all that money on their motor and esc so I didn’t have to lug around a laptop to tune my drag car ### 2/5 — Basically useless *2022-09-14, version 3.0.2* There are limitations. Setting a throttle curve is more or less impossible; it simply has a botched touch interface. The Castle Link requiring a PC is superior in every measure, and orders of magnitude faster. I don’t wane to lug around a laptop, but there are PCs smaller than that which can be made to do the job. Plus, datalogs are much easier to read this way. ### 1/5 — Was a good app *2022-09-12, version 3.0.2* Every since the update. It won’t go Past the loading (1 of 6) screen. I let it sit there for 2 hours and it didn’t load anything. Went to set it up and the app said the ESC is not supported. Called tech support and they said we know it’s a programming issue and it’ll get fixed eventually. What does eventually mean?! A week or 5 years. ESC is great but as far as rating this app…. Don’t know, will let you know when they “eventually” fix it. ### 2/5 — Do not get this *2022-04-23, version 1.09* Sure if you run a mamba x or SW4. Seems to work fine. But if your trying their new products just remember they seem to have forgot you. B link responded by saying Copperhead not recognized by this app. I have rebooted app twice. You can not check or select motor test…there is a button but it doesn’t work. Other than that I have mine in my car to change settings at will and easy to try new settings. This application has convinced me to try and avoid Castle products. I’ve never had any big problems that a power cycle didn’t clear. It is absolutely the easiest way to program your ESC. I adjusted my braking and throttle curves with ease so I could have better control of my 6S Revo on a Mamba Monster 2 ESC. Had it programmed to my liking in 10 minutes flat. Best of all. Just with a flick of the ESC switch you can upload another program and test it out. Only thing missing here is an Android application. We will see where this tech goes. Fix data logging , or at least make it so we can clear the history , that beeping is driving me insane. 2. I noticed in the throttle curve area it’s not a drag to adjust your curve. Pc I seen on videos where they can drag it. 3. Castle link for PC isn’t working for me, tired different versions , different laptops and nothing. What’s the best way to get that software? Tried off the webpage and it doesn’t load . First thing I tried was the demo mode, this gives you a choice of all products to click on and “demo” the software, yet can’t click on a single one. Now I’m wondering if I messed up purchasing the link adapter???
