You are a faidit, a rebel Occitan lord from the 13th century. Develop your castrum - a fortified village - to face off the attacks of your adversaries, the crusaders and offer a refuge to the pursued Cathars. With the help of your faithful friends, cross Cathar Country in search of items that you will be able to combine in your WORKSHOP to save the Occitan culture from destruction. Castrum offers you: - A HISTORY mode, playable anywhere at any time, during which you collect items to develop your castrum. - A MONUMENT mode, playable only during your visit to the monuments of Aude, which lets you play geotagged mini games. You will need to visit 5 monuments to complete your quest. Over the course of the adventure, you will be able to: - Collect 54 items and craft close to 200 with them; - Go into your INVENTORY to discover the items to craft; - Win surprise rewards by visiting the 20 Cathar country monuments. During your visit, you must complete 5 mini games: if you succeed, you unlock a legendary tool which is added to your collection. J’étais d’abord sceptique car je préfère les jeux « à l’ancienne » sur papier. Mais mes deux enfants, 10 et 14 ans, ont plébiscité ce jeu qui les apporte un approfondissement des visites sans pour autant les faire « disparaître » derriere l’écran du téléphone. Le seul inconvénient est que maintenant ils réclament qu’on visite l’exhaustivité des sites : il nous faudrait plus de vacances ! ### 4/5 — Allez encore un petit effort! *2021-07-28, version 1.4* Dans l ´ensemble c est canon, c est vraiment super et original! Ce concept d appli pour petits et grands avec le coté balises à activer à chaque château est vraiment top. D’autres régions auraient bien besoin de s’en inspirer. Alors les plus : -idée originale. Vraiment. -graphisme et persos bien travaillés , design original qui lie le style médiéval au style contemporain. - scènes animatiques de belle qualité - bande son: au poil. - petits jeux multiples interessants - le concept de geoloc est bien mais attention, en pays cathare, personne n est capable en une saison estivale de voir tous les sites, peu éloignés mais qui demandent bcp de route. Les moins: -trop de vocabulaires graphiques différents , mélanger le style de dessin des persos, avec celui du craft, des minijeux… bof bof - les jeux du mode histoire ( récolter les objets sur place) n’ont pas de lien avec l’endroit, et le fond du château en photo 360° n’apporte rien et manque cruellement de qualité. Peut etre le remplacer par un schema du chateau? Une illustration aussi belle que vos persos et cartes qui unifierait le tout? - ok notre castrum se developpe and so what? Il n y a pas d interaction entre le joueur et le chateau … dommage de construire sans en profiter? - les minijeux sont soit trop faciles soit deja hasbeen… c est vraiment dommage car le contenu ( texte et idees) sont là! Cest juste la forme qui peche . - par moments le joueurs est guidé voire tenu par la main et à d’autres le joueur doit se débrouiller tout seul sans indice pour continuer… ça manque d unité. - trop de craft! Faire tous les châteaux pour crafter des objets avec lesquels le joueur n a pas d interaction est peut être un peu …. Rébarbatif? Peu avenant? Il faudrait soit enlever du craft soit trouver une alternative PAS DE COMMUNICATION! -developper une telle appli sans en parler c’est suicide squad! Sur les sites connus ( carca/ montségur ou arques) aucun guide n’en parle! Aucune brochure ni affichette! Ni page fcbk, ou communauté/discord! Une campagne de com’ est necessaire. Dans l ensemble : L idee est vraiment top, le design global aussi , la volonté de faire une appli pour petits et grands est vraiment louable , surtout si on la combine avec l autre appli « pays cathare » ( où la qualité graphique des frises est vraiment impeccable) Effectivement je donne pas mal de points négatifs mais il suffirait d une bonne MaJ pour bouleverser tout cela. Pour en faire une énorme référence en appli game/tourisme. En resumé on sent la volonté derrière cette appli mais peut etre n’est-elle pas encore aboutie, il en manque peu pour la terminer. ### 4/5 — Super mais... *2021-07-17, version 1.4* Super jeu mais il serait vraiment bien de pouvoir Débloquer le mode monument un fois pour chaque monument et pouvoir jouer aux jeux mode monument chez soi ! Car jouer sur le site est pas le principal quand on va voir un château ... merci ### 1/5 — Bug qui ne permet pas de terminer le jeu *2020-08-02, version 1.3* Il est impossible de pêcher le poisson de mer et de créer le pinceau (même en connaissant les combi) car les éléments (canne à pêcher et plume) sont désactivés trop tôt. Il nous manquent ces 2 objects de l’inventaire et on ne peux plus avancer. ### 3/5 — Standortdaten *2020-05-16, version 1.3* Ohne Zugriff auf die Standortdaten des Nutzers bricht dieses von der staatlichen französischen Tourismusentwicklungsbehörde aus Carcassone herausgegebene Spiel das Laden des Spiels sofort ab und ist somit nicht spielbar. Da dies jedoch transparent geschieht, gibt es anstatt 0 Sterne (für nicht spielbar ohne Standortüberwachung) doch noch 3 Sterne (für diese faire Tranzparenz). Jeder kann dank DSGVO und CNIL somit selbst entscheiden wie er hiermit umgeht. ### 3/5 — Anticlimactic. *2019-11-26* My fiance and I played this game all day just to get to the last two items that needed to be crafted and them not be available with the items left over. Talk about unsatisfying. Almost there, and then you stopped. I bet a man made this game. 😂😂 Honestly, we enjoyed the game but requiring someone to be in a foreign country in order to beat the game seemed a little like overkill.
