Then it switched to PvP only, which wasn’t bad but wasn’t my favorite. Now they changed the PvP from five rounds to only three rounds, so you get even less playing time even though their prices are all the same. Why are they trying to make people unhappy with this game? Whoever is making these choices needs to be fired. ### 2/5 — So made *2021-08-06, version 0.34.0* Really! I play my turn twice score still stay at 7 points but the other play every time get score and sadly when you keep play you still lost very time even other times up they still can move I really love to play this game but I had been play for a month now still get stuck at 900 never get to 1,000. ### 2/5 — Meh *2021-07-23, version 0.33.0* I liked this game when it was a standard match-3, moving along the path and following a simple story. The puzzles were engaging as a way to spend some free time. When the PvP challenges were introduced, I tried it, but wasn’t that interested. I’m not fond of PvP in general. Now that the single player piece is gone, I have no interest in the game at all. Bad move developers. You have ruined it for a segment of your audience. ### 4/5 — Game does not load *2021-04-30, version 0.27.1* After the iOS update, or the game update, game stucks at the initial loading screen. I found that enabling App Transparency Settings makes the game playable again but I would like to opt-out and play the game. ### 4/5 — Continue not working? *2021-04-17, version 0.26.1* Great game! I love it and the idea is great, however as soon as I cleared the first world and made it to the second the “continue” button at the end of each level stopped working? I can click Start, Skip, and make matches in that part of the screen- so the issue is not my device- but the continue button will not work, so I need to exit the app and reopen it to move on to the next level. I also haven’t seen the thief’s minigame since reaching the second world. I’m not sure what’s going on with either of those but I love the game as a whole. Since starting there are been “improvements” that have made the game less enjoyable. I really miss the ability to use potions to get extra spins on the wheel before starting a level. ### 2/5 — Used to live this game... *2021-02-25, version 0.22.2* Game is fantastic, and thoroughly enjoyable. Then they came out with the latest update. Absolutely killed the game. Suddenly, extra spins went from using tokens (used for playing levels) to using coins, which are in MUCH shorter supply. Suddenly, not only couldn’t I beat the levels with 3 stars, I couldn’t beat them at all! Maybe, if they put it back, I’ll start playing again. In the meantime, there are much more entertaining apps out there. ### 2/5 — Star system is broken *2020-12-31, version 0.19.0* The game is decently fun and doesn’t push unwanted ads on you. However, the “star system” after each level is broken. No rhyme or reason how many stars you get. You can end the level with 11 moves left and still only get one star. Deleting and redownloading the app helped my loading problem. I was enjoying playing this game until it stopped loading today. I came to the App Store so I could contact the devs on their website. Unfortunately, when I tried to submit the problem to their help desk a pop up said I could only contact them through the game itself. We weren’t able to log you in! Please try again later” I had done this for the past couple hours and was still unsuccessful, I found it weird that the game would still load, still had my position on the game, and I was able to play one level but I had to constantly hit retry just to keep playing, I had restarted the game and my phone but I’m still having this issue **Developer response:** Sorry to hear you experienced this bug :( We just released an update which should fix this issue. It’s nice actually receiving things when given. Thank you! ### 3/5 — Cats *2020-11-20, version 0.17.0* I had a problem that the game wouldn’t sign me in at all and so I deleted and redownloaded it and connected it back to my apple account but the problem is that the yellow and purple cats aren’t in the upgrade section any more and all of my cats only do ten damage now which makes it impossible to progress. I even made a purchase to upgrade the cats that I could and yet they still do 10 damage when they should be doing 22? **Developer response:** Sorry to hear about this issue. There are micro transactions of course like all games like this but at first they’re not needed and you can spend coins and get free boosts. However it takes FOREVER to level up your cats and I’m on level 95 now, and have tried it probably 30 times and haven’t even gotten anywhere near close to beating it. It’s clear this is the point where the game becomes pay to win. Sure I could buy coins and add more turns. But I’m not sure you can beat this stage at all without paying money. Very sad. ### 2/5 — Decent game but... *2020-10-22, version 0.15.0* I like, it’s fun, cute for a matching game, but gets to the “you must pay to continue” levels quite early. You can keep playing free, but it takes a lot of spins on the slot machine to get enough power ups for 3 stars in a stage. Makes it a slow crawl around level 100. I’m probably not going to stay with it long because I don’t feel like spending so much money for minimal gains. They need to rework the reward structure. Even the videos barely offer any benefit, and videos at every turn... ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not worth it without paying *2022-07-08, version 0.51.0* There’s a power up that is very nearly an instant win that you can only get through paying real money. It’s not fun any more, constantly being paired against paying players with overpowered advantages I can’t compete with. They win without trying, while I run out of options to even play at all. Sure games need to make money, but don’t try to force our hands by turning non-paying players into second class citizens. ### 1/5 — Irritated *2022-04-25, version 0.49.0* I wish I could give less then a star simply because I have lost rounds and my grim reaper boosters several times because the game just crashed saying it was and unexpected error with the server and this has been several times. Is not that only after a few short minutes of play you run out of lives 2. Is not that you have to wait thirty minutes to play ONE more game...only to wait another 30 to play another, etc. 3. But it’s WHEN you’ve waited the 30 min to be able to play one game: you log on the app, press the play button, then the app CRASHES, does an update & when it opens back up, guess what? Game keeps crashing. It’s pretty discouraging to try & play new games especially dumping in game currency & not being able to play... I suppose all games reap in the cash cow somehow. Beat a level: crash. Attempt to go to a different screen (higher or lower levels): crash. Also the concept of “upgrading” is not explained, so I had all my characters stuck at “MAX” of 5, so there was no point in attempting to level them up more to try and beat the tougher levels.
