this game is so cute and has so much potential. I’m totally fine with watching ads for in game rewards but the ones at the bottom take away from the gameplay…

It seems the game is highly underestimated! With the nice graphics and challenging gameplay (which is deceptively easy at the start) having this low amount downloads - crazy! Appstore algorithms sometimes don’t do good if you don’t put significant amount of 💰 into advertising 😉 Keep up doing unique games, devs!
