## What is Cat Room?

In a quiet room at dusk, a cat lives at its own pace.

It eats, sharpens its claws on the sofa, settles on the cat tower, chases a ball of yarn. Now and then it jumps
onto the bed, curls up and sleeps. Touch the screen and it notices you, and comes trotting over.

■ Being with the cat
・Tap and it meows and walks to you
・Stroke it and it purrs. 19 different voices
・Tap the ball and it rolls; the cat chases it
・Your iPhone's haptics carry the purr into your hand
・The more you spend time together, the higher the bond

■ A cat's own day
・Dinner, scratching, grooming (face washing too), kneading, the cat tower, playing ball, sleeping
・You can ask with a button, but the cat mostly decides for itself
・Give it a name

■ For the hour before sleep
・Quiet time with a cat, wrapped in the sound of rain
・The sleep timer fades the sound out slowly, then stops
・Sound keeps playing with the screen off and on silent mode

■ Paw pads and cat feet
・Press the soft paw pads and the toes curl in
・Plump cat feet knead, left and right

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-21

・The milk bowl looks like milk now, not water.
・The sleeping cat keeps the coat you chose for it.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-21

・Fixed the dinner, treat, milk and face-washing sounds, which sometimes did not play.
・The cat now reaches high up the scratching post with its forelegs.
・Moved the milk bowl: while scratching, the cat could look like it was standing in it.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-18

・The cat crouches, wiggles, and really pounces at the ball now.
・It stretches after the scratching post, and shakes its head after dinner — the small things cats do.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-15

・Choose the cat's coat: Somali, tuxedo, grey or calico.
・New "Treat" and "Milk" buttons. Dinner, scratching and face washing have all been re-recorded.
・Three more room sounds: waves, a distant city, and a snowy night.
・The cat moves better. It reaches up the scratching post with its forelegs, and brings a paw properly to its face to wash.
・A bowl of its own to drink from, away from the food.
・The room light is gentler, so the cat's coat and face markings show in the evening light.
・The paw close-up has been redrawn: a kitten's paw now, rounder and softer.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-12

・A new "Drink" button. The lapping carries on for as long as you listen.
・Dinner now sometimes sounds like soft food rather than biscuits, and grooming uses a closer recording.
・The room has been rearranged. The large sofa-shaped scratching post is gone, replaced by a small cactus one by the window.
・The cat kneads the duvet now, and washes on the floor.
