I’m trying to add colors to my room that cats can see well, but in this app they can see every single color. I’m not an expert, so I could be wrong. I was hoping to use this to make sure that things I got for my cat were easily visible. Like how dogs can’t see the difference between green and red so finding a red ball in grass can be hard versus how they can see blue so it would be easier to find for them. Perhaps the spectrum of what cats and dogs see are similar enough that I might be able to find a dog one that will help me better or perhaps an app simulating certain kinds of color blindness, but it was disappointing to find the color was essentially a Instagram filter that made things bluer and yellower. ### 3/5 — This is Very Inaccurate *2014-08-19* Thats now how cats see at all. ### 4/5 — Now I know *2014-05-26* Oh my god, now I know why my cat freaks out at night. All you need to do to recreate this, is to take a picture, go to photoshop or something, desaturate the image, add a blur effect, and add some brightness. Cats don’t see even close to this.
