## What is Catalyst?

You know what you need to do. The hard part is following through.
The email you keep avoiding.
The project you keep restarting.
The thing that’s been “this weekend” for a month.
Catalyst is an AI goal planner built for the gap between knowing what matters and actually doing it.
Talk it through with Jax, your voice-first AI coach. Sort through competing priorities, choose a manageable next step, and keep your goals and progress in view.

WHEN EVERYTHING FEELS IMPORTANT
Five things feel urgent. You don’t know where to start. So you reorganize the list, think about it some more, and end the day with the same things still waiting.
Jax helps you work through what’s competing for your attention and turn a bigger goal into a next step you can actually take.
Less spinning. More moving.

WHEN YOU KEEP PUTTING IT OFF
You already know the task matters. That doesn’t make starting easy.
Bring Jax the thing you’ve been avoiding — the application, the hard email, the project you’ve restarted three times — and work through what’s getting in the way.
You don’t need another productivity tip. You need somewhere to start.

WHEN THE WEEK CHANGES
Monday’s plan can look very different by Thursday.
Meetings move. Something takes longer than expected. A new priority appears.
Catalyst keeps your goals, projects, saved steps, and progress together in My Plan so you can return to what matters instead of mentally starting over.

A COACH WHO REMEMBERS
Jax carries relevant context across conversations, helping you revisit goals, commitments, and the things you keep coming back to.
Less re-explaining. More continuity.

### 5/5 — Keeps me on track

*2026-05-13*

I didn’t think I needed something like this, but it’s been good for staying on track.

### 5/5 — Really Useful

*2026-05-10*

I didn’t expect to use this app as much as I do, but it’s honestly become part of my day. Being able to quickly talk through reminders, tasks, or random ideas is way easier than typing everything out. It feels smooth, simple, and actually helpful instead of overwhelming. Definitely one of the more useful productivity apps I’ve tried lately.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-05

Add events to your calendar by voice.
Confirm saves with clear Yes and No buttons.
See your goal in the Home Screen widget.
Send Feedback & Ideas from Settings.

### 1.1.9 — 2026-09-22

Jax's orb now moves and responds as he listens, thinks, and speaks. Finishing a goal gets the celebration it deserves. Plus clearer, more natural language from Jax.

### 1.1.8 — 2026-09-20

A completely refreshed Catalyst — lighter, calmer, and easier to read at a glance.
A new look. Clean, bright design throughout, with a new home for everything you're working on: My Plan keeps your main focus, your next step, and your progress in one place.
Jax remembers better. Improvements to memory mean Jax picks up the thread more reliably — your goals, the people you mention, and what you said you'd do next.
Your coach, your way. Choose supportive, balanced, or direct coaching, and shorter or fuller replies.
Smoother conversations. Better listening and transcription, longer answers no longer get cut off, and a more readable transcript.
Plus stability and performance improvements throughout.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-09-03

Jax now remembers the people in your life, your goals, and how they connect — not just what you said, but who and what you meant. Your memories can only be opened by your own phone. And the upgrade screen tells you plainly what Pro includes and what it costs.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-07-20

A big update focused on how Catalyst looks and sounds.

Light mode is here. Catalyst now follows your phone's appearance, or set Light or Dark manually in Settings. Text is easier to read everywhere — with a warm, paper-like feel.
Jax sounds better and responds faster. We've improved how Jax's voice is delivered, so replies come back quicker and always in his own voice. If your connection drops mid-conversation, Jax will now show his reply as text and pick the audio back up when you're reconnected.
Smarter listening. Catalyst is better at handling quiet moments and background noise, so conversations feel more natural.
Plus reliability improvements behind the scenes.
