Play with your Catan Universe account on the device of your choice: You can use your login on numerous desktop and mobile platforms! Become part of the huge worldwide Catan community, and compete against players from all over the world, and on all supported platforms.

The board game:
Play the basic board game in multiplayer mode! Join two of your friends for a maximum of three players and face all the challenges in “Arrival on Catan”.

Make things even more exciting by unlocking the full Basegame; the expansions “Cities & Knights” and “Seafarers”, each for up to six players. The special scenario pack containing the scenarios “Enchanted Land” and “The Great Canal” adds even more variety to your games.

The game edition ‘Rise of the Inkas‘ is another exciting challenge for you, as your settlements are doomed in their heyday. The jungle swallows the signs of human civilization, and your opponents seize their chance to build their settlement at the location they crave for.

The card game:
Play the introductory game of the popular 2 player card game “Catan – The Duel” online free of charge or master the free “Arrival on Catan”, to permanently unlock the single player mode against the AI.

Love the game but there is one persistent bug that’s not been fixed. If you hit a trade too quickly it seems to freeze the whole game and you have to exit and abandon it.

The ai for some reason acts in a way that it knows what numbers will be rolled for each turn and will also know what development cards are next. Very frustrating to play with ai players simply because it just feels stupidly rigged. Would recommend the ai be reviewed. I understand that the ai is simply choosing the most logical play but it seems as if the AI constantly targets me when getting robber or knight. Game is stupid with the ai.

I’ve been playing the solo version for years. Since the last update, if I don’t finish the game in one setting, it closes down and I lose the game when I open it back up. So I have to use another sun and start a new game. And if I don’t get that one finished in one setting, I have wasted two suns and never get a game completed. It used to be that the game would save and I could go back into it and finish the game if I didn’t get it all done in one setting. And the sun would show how much longer for it to recharge. Now it doesn’t. Very frustrating

The bot will glitch out and keep offering a trade without accepting, stopping the game from progressing. Often times game will crash😒

Game could be great, but the bots have never worked. Freeze your game, screw up your rating, leave you locked. Game is a good example of why bots and AI should not be relied upon. Game would be better just leaving a quitters pieces on board and skipping that players turn the remainder of the game the way humans would do if they were in person.
