Settlers of Catan is an exciting, strategy, social board game which is played around a randomly generated board. Players collect resources, including wood, brick, sheep, wheat and ore, to trade or build new roads and settlements. First person to 10 points wins. 

Catanerator is a tool used to generate a board which distributes the odds in a fashion that allows a customizable balance. Now you can play Settlers of Catan with a board which does not give unfair advantages to certain players.

Great list of configurations and features, we recently start playing Catan again as the kids are old enough to enjoy the fun of Board Games

One regret I found is that the “Random Port Locations” despite enabled or disabled , each generation would be “random” , while some edition of Catan does not allow port override , or contains the extra “port pieces”

Like my current edition, of the right of the “2:1 wheat” it’s a “3:1” port , and both are on the same edge piece which means it’s a fixed combination. It will be nice if the app can take user input of “default port” locations / combinations before the random map generation 

For now I am going to ignore the port and see how we go

Horrible generator.  Once downloaded you have to pay money for anything besides the basic map.  You don’t find this out until after the app is downloaded.  If you want a legit and FREE catan map generator with tons of options.  Then Get the HEX ISLE MAP and you will be very pleased.  This is NOT what your looking for.

We have taken your feedback and have another update for you! We are introducing some new game modes, improved UI scaling and some other updates:

 - Added 4 new maps revolving around encouraging city building named City Slickers
 - Improved the chart so it is easier to see how many dice rolls for each number (thanks for the feedback!)
 - Increased the size of the numbers as per request (thanks for the feedback!)
 - Added a tutorial to describe all the custom settings available (thanks for the feedback!)
 - Added a way to send the game to your friends
