This is such a rad tool but I always include gold on seafarerers games, so I can't use this most of the time. ### 4/5 — Solid *2015-03-21, version 2.0.2* It's a solid map generator and keeps the board random and fair. It is constantly charging me money or has some bug where it says it is. I did not get the bill yet. Even after you spend money they still show ads. All that said it does what it is supposed to do. This app generates random board layouts for the game, and it allows for customization of certain options to provide a more balanced layout for all players enjoyment. I play six player Catan on almost a weekly basis and this really helps us mix it up! I'm also giving it five stars because I had a few questions for the designer which responded the same day. This app does exactly what it claims, assist you in playing the board game. I really only use the board building tool so we can get semi-random boards. The most useful thing I can say is try the free version first. I was not confused, but I can see how some people would be. ### 5/5 — A fantastic app to help play Catan *2012-02-26, version 1.1* My family and I just started playing Catan, and we weren't confident in our ability to design a board that was fair and balanced. This app creates the board design for you quickly and painlessly. We then build the board in the real world and off we go. My mother was surprised something like this existed and called it "a very clever idea." ### 5/5 — Catan setup made easy *2011-12-30, version 1.1* I really like this app. Easy set up with the nice functionality of the fair variables to intro the game to someone or no variables for a potentially difficult match for someone.
