Every time I send an invite, the player tells me they are presented with an error message that the link is expired (even after just sending it). I recently got the vest, its good quality and I was really excited to use it. After my first training session i was eager to see my stats but bam nothing was recorded even though i charged the device for more than 2 hours and the lights were on. i did it again and nothing again. It just says “No session has been found” already issued for a refund. If youre thinking about this or the 300$ vest might as well invest bc im sure those will work properly. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2021-08-29* This vest does not work! It doesn't record the whole session, it will randomly only record half an hour of a 90min game or record 5 x 1 min session then the next 45 minutes! There is no pet term to it. Incredibly frustrating! I have had this for over a year now and have a email trail of over 100 emails between myself and catapult trying to sort the issue, I have had several replacement pods and a replacement vest and still have the same problem, I have asked for a refund several times and been ignored, they just offer to send another new pod! It does not work!! If I could give less than 1 star rating I would have done ### 4/5 — Missing one tiny thing *2021-08-19* Brilliant product however i think they should add a section where you can add goals and assists (like where you add the match score) so you can remember your stats with the games. Also would be good to reflect on at the end of the season! (Update) The new app layout is horrible please change it back to the old one ### 1/5 — Used to work great until stopped tracking *2021-08-11* I’ve had this app for a few months now. Back in November/December 2020 it worked great. Gave really good analysis of the pitch areas, distance etc. I was using my apple watch to monitor my fitness. However after football resumed post winter lockdown it hasn’t been measuring correctly. The heat map shows one dot and the distance run is always less than a kilometre. I’ve tried using airplane mode as suggested, re-installing the app but nothing seems to get it to work. Real shame as I was happy to continue paying to use the app However now it doesn’t work at all, I would definitely try this before committing to paying for it to see if it works on your apple watch ### 4/5 — Worked well on watch before trying airplane mode… *2021-07-22* Provides some interesting data and good to have more in depth look that other apps. I have used for a few games and training sessions successfully with the Apple Watch. Today however, I followed the ‘turn airplane mode on to get better GPS’ prompt…it did not track a thing and suggested I covered 0.05km in an hour! So frustrating!!! Not sure why airplane mode would make the GPS more accurate? Seemed to completely turn the GPS off! Also possibly having a pause function may be better for 5-a-side as I accidentally clicked half time 15 minutes in which was a bit annoying. ### 1/5 — Accuracy *2021-06-11, version 0.1.60* Not too sure how accurate this is but apparently I’m 24 km faster than Usain Bolt 🤷‍♂️ ### 3/5 — Great until it doesn’t work *2021-06-10* I use the Apple Watch version and all was good till the app just stopped working couldn’t upload my games then lost all my data, then was logged out and couldn’t get back in. ### 1/5 — Cool *2021-06-10, version 0.1.60* It’s cool and all but I can’t even connect my email or anything to even use the app so I’m not having any fun ### 3/5 — ADD iPad compatibility ASAP!! *2021-04-30* The vests works great (purchased two for my kids) but being limited to only an iPhone is terrible for seeing the data on a larger screen. Please add compatibility for iPad - this shouldn’t be a far stretch to add the functionality. We have data we would like to mine but it’s hard on a small older iPhone. Also, I agree with some other users, the app isn’t entirely intuitive, parents don’t have access to the kids training sessions unless I’m signed up as a coach? Even then I can’t see all their data. Comments or notes for each session on what was worked on would be great to know. This has been great to assess total mileage and strain, like the recovery and other training tips. Maybe spend less money on those and more money on app development/expanded compatibility. ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2021-04-22* The idea behind this app is great, and I was excited to try out the Apple Watch features. Then they forced me to upgrade the firmware on my pod and that caused the pod to stop working. After 2+ weeks of back-and-forth they sent me a new pod which also does not work and will not sync. Now it’s been four weeks and no one has offered me any help or solution to correct this problem. I am very frustrated at how bad the service and tech-support is with this company. I would strongly advise everyone to not waste your time or money with Catapult products. Catapult has been a huge disappointment. I use mine with an apple watch and from what i can tell the stats are very accurate. I did raise a query with the support team regarding the app automatically switching sides after half time - which if you play in a league that doesn't always bother to do this (like mine) it can cause your heat-map and runs to be in the wrong direction. The support staff got back to me super quick though to acknowledge the issue and hopefully this will be addressed in future updates. I tried uninstalling the app and reloading it. Now the app will not install. I tried resetting the password. So a verification code should’ve been sent out to my email. Been waiting for that... Like the idea behind the tech but needs update app supports bug fixes. ### 5/5 — Wow has really helped me improve *2020-03-10* Even though I am in my 50’s I am still playing 11 aside competitive football and always wanting to improve. I brought this pod and app to help track my training and match day stats and it’s worked. I can see where I am, it sets targets and it doesn’t lie, what is shows is how hard I ran, distance, sprints, load and intensity and having this app has allowed me to review my training, be more focused before training or the game and my stats show it has improved my performance.
