## What is Catch a Bit?

Catch a Bit is a cozy little fishing game with a chunky pixel-art heart. Cast your line, wait for the bobber to bob, set the hook and reel in your catch — one calm, satisfying tug at a time.

There are 250 fish to discover across six dreamy locations, from the gentle Lily Pond all the way down to the lightless Abyss. Every species you land is logged in your Fishdex, and selling your catch earns the coins for better rods and bait to chase ever-rarer fish.

HOW IT PLAYS
- Tap to cast, then tap again the moment the bobber bobs to set the hook. Too early spooks the fish; too late and it spits the hook
- Win the reel mini-game: hold to reel in, and ease off when the tension gauge runs into the red, or the line snaps
- Watch out for fighting fish that lunge and thrash on their way up
- Every catch lands on a reveal card with its size, rarity and a little blurb. Keep it or sell it on the spot

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Collect all 250 species across six rarities, from Common to Mythic
- Start at the Lily Pond and unlock five more fishing spots as your Fishdex grows, each with its own fish and mood
- Work your way up from a humble stick to four better rods, each with a signature strength — faster bites, a smoother reel, better luck with the rare ones, or all of the above
- Stock up on bait to boost your odds of hooking legendaries and mythics
- Browse your Fishdex by rarity or location, and sell fish one species at a time or your whole bucket at once
- Visit the Fish Market: it restocks every day with fish to fill the gaps in your Fishdex, and its traders offer coins plus a rarer fish once you've caught the rarity they're after
- Build catch streaks, beat your personal-best sizes and earn 12 awards along the way

- Starter Bundle (one-time purchase): 800 coins, the Carbon Snap rod and a tin of Glowgrubs bait that lasts 10 catches. It can be restored on a new device
- Pocket of Coins (can be bought again): a 200-coin top-up
