Catcha Mouse was my very first game downloaded on my iPod Touch way back in April 2009. It was a simple and fun game. Today, however, it is littered with degenerate gambling ads, a new life system, and, of course, a store where you can buy said lives as well as power ups. Originally, the game did not have these nor need them, but since every app these days has daily login bonuses and stores, I guess the developer wanted to milk this for all it’s worth like the rest of them in some greedy FOMO way. Not only this, the art style and sound has been altered. It’s sad what a simple game has turned into.

Yo tenía el juego en mi otra iPad hace 6 años y ahora que lo encontré lo dejaron demasiado mal ya que antes no tenía anuncios de páginas de apostar y lo único de pago eran los mundos, ademas no hay opciones para quitar los anuncios ya que los anuncios son adentro del juego

Old app was good back in the day. Now some levels can’t be completed with 3 stars without buying boosts. Also, slot machine ads are annoying. It’s not worth it to deal with an insane mouse in an insane and greedy world.

I downloaded this to the Apple TV for the 7 & 9 year old. This is NOT for kids!! After the first tutorial a SLOT MACHINE came up…Gambling! Disgusting; then an ad for a Slot Machine game. This needs to be reported to Apple and removed from the App Store.

Questo è stato uno dei primi giochi per iPhone e l’ho sempre amato e conservato. Recentemente è stato aggiornato a una grafica più moderna, con conseguenti impostazioni e opzioni di gioco di tanti altri giochi attuali, e questo non mi è affatto piaciuto. Da un semplice gioco lineare ora è pieno zeppo di opzioni a pagamento che lo rendono uguale a tutti gli altri. Ha perso l’anima autentica che aveva prima.
Certo, la grafica è molto più curata, ma molto spesso - lo sappiamo tutti - “di più” non significa sempre “migliore”.

Potevate fare una versione nuova, lasciando però la prima, classica, intatta e a disposizione dei primi giocatori che ancora amavano lo stile di quel gioco.
