### 5/5 — Way too underrated

*2016-07-08, version 1.0*

I thought this was some half done trash game but I was happily suprised to find out it wasn't. I've recommended this to quite a few friends and they like it too. Totally should add different levels, like Unova Pokemon and Kalos Pokemon. So each level would have the Pokemon that the game had.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2016-07-08, version 1.0*

For being an app that is so simple it really gives you a challenge to catch Pokemon while trying to stay in the flappy bird style. The Pokemon protect themselves with their moves and you basically try to catch them just by tapping until it catches the Pokemon. I think this game will go far if many people start to use it.

### 5/5 — Really clever idea, meh execution.

*2016-07-07, version 1.0*

For those of you wondering why this is the second result for "Pokemon Go" on the App Store, I don't know, but I can say that this app has plenty to like on its own. It's essentially a flappy bird clone where the obstacles are Pokemon, and each Pokemon has a different method of trying to knock you out of the sky. I don't know about you, but I think that's an awesome concept. Unfortunately, there isn't much more to the game than that. I would try to spice up the gameplay and make it more challenging, and I would also recommend creating your own sprites if you could. The visuals are a little boring. It would also be nice to add more Pokemon, I for one really like Generation 4. (Especially Lucario!)

### 5/5 — This is lit

*2016-07-07, version 1.0*

This is so cool it uses the pokemon's actual moves. I already know I'm going to be playing this for a while. Just stop looking at reviews and get it. It's awesome.

### 5/5 — A Challenge For All!

*2016-07-06, version 1.0*

I was waiting for Pokémon Go to be released when I came across this game. As I started playing I saw it was like flappy bird but instead of pipes to pass you have to capture the Pokémon while their many abilities try to stop you. I have yet to get all 151 Pokémon!

### 5/5 — Good game

*2016-07-06, version 1.0*

Wish I could change what pokeball I was and more Pokemon and I keep losing to really fast attack maybe less of that

### 5/5 — Simple yet Amazing concept

*2016-07-06, version 1.0*

I usually don't review apps but this one deserves it. It's pretty great. I'm glad I found it right before a trip because I will spend all my time playing this. I will catch them all!!

### 5/5 — It is really really good though

*2016-07-06, version 1.0*

It thought this was some bad half done Pokemon game and can easily rival any other app in the amount of time and effort I pour into this game trying to catch all 151. It is a really good way to pass the time and it is a very novel concept. I hope the creator finds great success and keeps updating this even though it is already very good. I just hope Pokemon does not take this off the App Store.

### 5/5 — Great game except one thing

*2016-07-06, version 1.0*

It could be better if you make it so when you catch one the game doesn't start over. But overall great game!'

### 5/5 — Waiting for Pokemon Go

*2016-07-06, version 1.0*

Downloaded this while waiting for Pokemon go to release to USA. Fun game, easy concept and interesting mechanics. I haven't encountered any glitches as of yet so there's a plus. Especially for a free game.

### 5/5 — Came here looking for Pokemon Go...

*2016-07-06, version 1.0*

... and I wasn't disappointed. This game is as fun as it is simple. The ads aren't too intrusive and the gameplay is smooth. The abilities and art style stay true to the original sprites, and the physics are solid. Even playing with your Pokeballs after you lose is fun. Good for a quick game when you have a few minutes to kill.

### 5/5 — Surprisingly fun

*2016-07-06, version 1.0*

I legitimately thought these positive reviews were fake, and it all seemed kinda bland, but I downloaded it skeptical at first. Then after about 5 mins of playing it, I found myself pretty attached to it. It's pretty cool for a free app.

### 5/5 — Actually a really well done game!

*2016-07-06, version 1.0*

Whoever made this obviously knew their Pokemon. Plus, it gets progressively harder as you go. There is a lot of content for a pretty straightforward game concept. Well done!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Fun but...

*2016-07-08, version 1.0*

You're going to get sued. There are many issues. You only have one chance to catch each Pokemon which doesn't work. The attacks can hit Pokemon off the screen to where they can't be caught even if you're as far as you go. Some attacks (particularly swift and rock slide) for some reason appear before you even pass the starting line (or directly after even if you haven't hit a Pokemon)

### 1/5 — This game really isn't fun.

*2016-07-06, version 1.0*

I played three rounds of this game, hoping to understand why people liked it so much. Problem is, this game is pointless, the controls are annoying (I'm not sure if you have to hit a Pokemon at a certain time or angle, there was no how-to for this) and I honestly don't get how this game is suddenly one of the most popular games on the App Store - possibly because the app design confused people into thinking that this was Pokémon Go, not a waste of time and space. This game honestly stinks, and I would never recommend it to anyone. It's that bad.

### 2/5 — What?

*2016-07-07, version 1.0*

Honestly it's a simpler Flappy Bird clone...you fly up in your PokeBall, touching your ball on various Pokemon to collect them. Some of them shoot stuff at you or send you careening in a random direction to make it harder. A bit addicting but gets old after about 10 tries. I'm not sure why there are so many reviews praising the game...sometimes simplicity is the best way to go...unfortunately this isn't one of them.

### 4/5 — Lag on new update

*2023-01-04, version 3.1*

Haven’t played in a while, so maybe I’m just rusty, but it feels like there’s a lot of input lag

**Developer response:** Yea, it's lagging at the moment.
It's caused by an issue between one of the frameworks i'm using and iOS 16.
I'll push an update as soon as they fix it and/or i find a way around it.

### 4/5 — Um what?

*2016-11-12, version 2.0*

I love this game! It's cute and simple, a perfect game to play when you're bored. However with this new update, the Pokémon look demonic now and I don't understand why? It's weird and no where near as great as it was before

### 4/5 — Well Done

*2016-07-06, version 1.0*

This game is very fun, while not too complex, it does manage to be entertaining while waiting for Pokemon GO. (Seriously, why does this appear as the first name when you search PkmnGO?)

### 4/5 — Really good game

*2016-07-06, version 1.0*

It keeps me occupied when I'm bored, I just wish other regions were also in the game. I also wish there was a way to look and see which ones you've knocked down entirely, not just after the one game.

### 4/5 — Good game, just frustrating

*2016-07-02, version 1.0*

I've really enjoyed this game and it is a lot of fun. One part that annoys me is that once you get up to around 80 Pokemon, a wall appears and I don't know how to get past it.

### 4/5 — Good App to Waite Time

*2016-06-23, version 1.0*

It's actually pretty addictive game, frustrating, but overall fun. You should create a store shop for the game though like changing the pokeball to other unique pokeballs like quickball, timerball, diverball, masterball, and etc.

### 5/5 — Amazing game BUT as of latest update

*2022-12-22, version 3.1*

Have been playing this game since the dawn of time
However with this most recent update I’ve taken it upon myself to complete the Pokédex yet again but in the new update. Since starting this task I’ve noticed some latency issues with the tap->ball jump. I’ll tap the screen to make it move and it doesn’t respond immediately, making it very difficult to catch them all. Please fix this developers!

**Developer response:** Hey, thanks for sticking around.
The lag seems to be caused by an interaction between one of the frameworks i'm using and iOS 16.
I'll push an update as soon as they resolve the issue.

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Really good time waster

*2018-10-12, version 2.1*

Not much to say here but maybe you could add an infinite mode

### 5/5 — I’m not going to lie but I got your old version never updated

*2018-04-09, version 2.1*

I’m happy to catch all the Pokémon so I will not update it was fine how it was before.

### 5/5 — I'm sorry

*2017-01-06, version 2.1*

Look it kinda makes me sad that this game had to change everything up to not represent Pokémon they called it catch rate now when it used to be called something else it's a great game and it's really fun when you get bored

### 5/5 — Fun game

*2016-12-28, version 2.1*

I always enjoy playing this game whenever I get bored and it is always fun. Gotta catch them all.

### 5/5 — Fun

*2016-11-12, version 2.0*

I had this when it was still catch em all. That's sad you had to switch it cause copyright probably but super fun still :)

### 5/5 — Major overhaul

*2016-11-12, version 2.0*

Well, I know WHY you had to redesign this app, but I can't say I love the morphed Pokemon. But again, I see why you had to do it. Anyway, fun game. I had this on installed even when it was removed from the App Store because it's so addicting.

### 5/5 — Sorry

*2016-11-11, version 2.0*

I loved this game, it was nonprofit, an amazing idea and cool execution. But the combining of Pokémon into demonic creatures I can only assume is because of copyright and I'm sorry. You're a cool developer though and you've got a fan here.

### 5/5 — How far have you gotten

*2016-07-11, version 1.0*

I like this game, it sure is addicting, the most I've caught is 45 , I'm wondering if people have been able to beat it

### 5/5 — Forget pokemon go

*2016-07-08, version 1.0*

This has no bugs unlike Pokemon go and is a perfect way to make time fly when you're waiting for things (like a Pokemon go update) kudos to the creator
