### 3/5 — Good app, great idea, needs more flexible editing

*2021-12-24, version 2.0*

Only used it a couple of times. Looks a great idea as it prompts you a analyse your own emotions and is simple to use. However it treats positive emotion scores the same way as negative emotions, for example if you achieve a higher strength relaxation after doing something good, it says “oh that’s a pity…”. On the editing side, it would be great if you could go back in and edit an entry or even delete the entry. The only option you get is to delete all entries.

### 2/5 — Deleted all my data

*2021-11-20, version 2.0*

I entered my password incorrectly for a 3rd time. Misremembered it and typing on phone while in a taxi. It deleted all my data and gave me no option to back out of the process. Really disappointed as I wanted to check my moods from a month ago.

### 3/5 — Decent diary

*2021-04-19, version 2.0*

It’s a simple app for recording moods but it could do with a more balanced end-sheet so that if your mood is happiness and it increases, there’s a positive message of encouragement, rather than just focusing on what do do if it’s a negative result.
I did find it helpful for a quick capture & reframing of negative thoughts but it could do with more examples of solutions or methods like breathing and emergency stuff to break the cycles of panic or anxiety. If you’ve already had cbt previously that was successful then this might help you remember the good tips and refocus.

### 2/5 — Cant share

*2020-01-30, version 2.0*

Handy way to digitally capture cbt thought diary. Share facility doesn’t seem to do anything tho, so no good for me!

### 2/5 — Useless

*2019-09-17, version 1.8*

The app asks the same questions, questions I can’t answer as I don’t know why I feel like I do! Or what made me feel a certain way... And I don’t know how to look at things differently! it’s actually really pointless to me I have BPD there’s nothing designed for BPD sufferers

### 3/5 — New update doesn’t help

*2018-10-15, version 1.7*

The app freezes a lot, especially when exporting data other than this i have just started and helps me

### 3/5 — Share function doesn’t work

*2018-07-19, version 1.6*

I wanted to be able to print/email my diary but that function doesn’t work - it just freezes.

### 2/5 — Bugs

*2018-06-05, version 1.5*

I’ve had this app for about 6 months now. I wouldn’t have called it perfect (I just don’t think CBT works for me personally) but it was nice to be able to document everything in a really neat and organised way. However, I’ve tried to log in a few times recently and it won’t move off of the loading screen at all. It’s a shame as I did really enjoy it.

### 1/5 — App Doesn’t Work

*2018-05-16, version 1.5*

Looked good so downloaded it. It doesn’t work! Won’t open at all. Rubbish! Very disappointed. Waste of time

### 1/5 — Loading screen

*2018-04-24, version 1.5*

I haven’t used the app before and just opened it. Is the screen meant to be loading for that long? I can’t even get into it.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t open

*2018-04-12, version 1.5*

Doesn’t open, just constant spinning wheel.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2018-04-08, version 1.5*

Unfortunately just doesn’t work - the opening screen just freezes/loads eternally without you being able to click on anything!

### 1/5 — Doesnt work

*2018-04-07, version 1.5*

Downloaded after seeing it recommended on the One Show. When I run it just freezes and does not load or allows the user to operate, disappointed ☹️

### 3/5 — Can’t seem to share diary

*2018-03-01, version 1.5*

I really like the app, and using it for mentoring, but it doesn’t seem like the sharing function works?

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Very unstable

*2022-12-22, version 2.0*

It crashed crashed and crashed

Very unstable app

Obviously not tested

### 1/5 — Don’t know

*2022-06-17, version 2.0*

Just downloaded this and it wouldn’t let me set a pin

### 1/5 — No guidance, no use

*2022-04-11, version 2.0*

Doesn’t offer any guidance on how you can more realistically approach changing your mindset or what to do, so not really sure why it name drops CBT as it’s devoid of any use in teaching.

If Liverpool and Manchester grads are churning apps out like this, the uni entrance requirements obviously aren’t getting them the cream of the crop. McDonalds is always hiring.

### 1/5 — Privacy policy not available

*2021-10-07, version 2.0*

The link just goes to the legal services page of the university. For an app collecting such sensitive personal data there doesn’t seem to be much rigour?

### 1/5 — Crashed first time I used it

*2020-09-08, version 2.0*

The app crashed and deleted all the text from my first report of a mood. It made me more anxious and upset than I already was as I’d spent a lot of time thinking about it.

### 1/5 — Poor

*2019-05-02, version 1.8*

No where near supportive enough and cannot edit mistakes.

If you are really struggling it gives you a sort of “oh well...”

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2018-06-10, version 1.5*

Can’t even access the app after downloading it. A shame really as the screen shots seem to show a good app.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work.

*2018-06-05, version 1.5*

Was advised to get this app , have downloaded it many times and deleted but it just doesn’t work on my iPhone.

### 1/5 — Won’t open

*2018-06-01, version 1.5*

Just loads I’ve been waiting twenty minutes

### 1/5 — Doesn’t load

*2018-05-18, version 1.5*

App spins and never loads

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2018-11-06, version 1.7*

I personally feel like this app will help anyone who suffers from anxiety/depression or even if you’re an overthinker like myself. Because I won’t talk to people about my emotions, this app allows me to get it off my chest in a viewable format instead where I can see my past emotions, log it and learn from it. The first time I used this, straight afterwards I felt so much better and no one had to know I was upset apart from me!

### 5/5 — Great application!

*2017-06-08, version 1.4*

Thank you very much for such application! It helps me a lot. It would have been great to add more moods)

### 5/5 — Very well conceived and executed!

*2016-09-10, version 1.4*

I'm happy to have found this app, most helpful indeed :)

### 5/5 — Всна русском. Круто.

*2016-05-15, version 1.3*

Не знаю как будет работать эта система, но то, что программа полностью русифицирована это очень круто. Спасибо разработчикам.

### 5/5 — Just what I was looking for

*2015-02-26, version 1.1*

I hate writing things down on paper and having just started a CBT course with my health authority, this is perfect for me. It's simple to use, convenient and keeps my diary for me without the clutter. I'd urge people who are in the same situation to give it a go.

### 4/5 — Simple and straightforward

*2025-02-27, version 2.2*

Needing an app that lets me add mood options for the situation. With continued use I’m noting some things that could be expanded or improved

### 4/5 — Great!

*2021-08-19, version 2.0*

I started using this app recently. Overall, it has been really useful. The only minor issue i have had is when logging positive emotions, you still get the message that says “that’s a pity” if the strength is the same or higher. Would be nice to have another message for positive emotions :)

### 4/5 — Love it.

*2020-03-22, version 2.0*

I have anxiety, depression and PTSD from emotional abuse. This app is literally the best thing ever. I’m new to CBT and have been told to journal by a counsellor. This allows me to record all my anxiety, irritability, PTSD episodes, and depressive periods as well as write the situation, negative thoughts, and turn these into positive thoughts. It really calms me down and soothes my mental state. Only thing I’ve noticed is the “share diary” doesn’t work.

### 4/5 — Not bad for a free app

*2019-12-16, version 1.9*

Offers a good enough about of help for an app that’s free can’t afford all the paid apps. Just wish it worked with positive emotions too.

### 4/5 — Excellent app for keeping check of negative thinking habits

*2017-03-31, version 1.4*

The app is very well made, it gives examples which are helpful for the first time user, for me CBT is an effective way to manage the negative thoughts I sometimes have, keeping a record of them using this app helps me to recognise patterns and I usually feel better after I have used the app.
