It doesn’t really cater to people who live in other states so I’m unable to use it because there aren’t people on this app in my area. ### 5/5 — An absolute MUST *2021-03-30* Whether you’re new to a city, or just looking for more friends that share similar interests, Axir is a great app for connecting and expanding your network. It has been an amazing source for putting me in contact with other adventurous people. Whenever I have a free day, I check Axir and there is ALWAYS something goin on! I’ve met so many of my LA friends through it, and they’re all about the more the merrier :) I’ve found that the older you get, the harder it is to make friends.. no longer the problem with Axir. Looks like there is a lot of latency. Guess I’m not making any friends here when it says to pay $19.99 a month or invite my own contacts (spoiler alert: I already know those people). And this is after the profile creation process: I had to decide on a username that is not changeable, choose from a very limited list of activities/hobbies to make “matches”and then could not continue without providing 6 “selfies.” Why? I just want friends in my area. C’mon, Axir. Also, their customer support is super responsive. There was a bug where I couldn’t invite all of my friends to an event I created. I reached out on IG and they offered to invite specific people for me while the fix is being pushed out. 🤩 ### 5/5 — Perfect ! *2021-09-29* Axir is such a freaking great idea. I love to be active and this app helps you meet new people who share the same love for the sports you love. I can also start training with folks that a better than me in kite and learn from them. Then I can find a cool group of snowboarder at my level and hit some backcountry. These are genuine cool circles.
