## What is CatchUp?

CatchUp is a small, private place for the people you actually know.
  
  There is no feed here. No followers. No likes, no counts, no scroll that never ends. Instead, a
  few times a day a short window opens — your Catch Up — and you sit down with what your people
  have shared since you last did. When it's done, it's done. You're caught up, and the day is yours
  again.
  
  WHY IT FEELS DIFFERENT
  • Finite by design. A Catch Up has a beginning and an end. You finish, and there is nothing left
  to refresh.
  • Create before you consume. Each session starts with a small prompt of your own — a line, a
  photo, a thought — so you arrive as a person, not just an audience.
  • Private by default. Everything you share goes only to the people you choose. No public
  profiles, no virality, no strangers. 
  • A warm goodbye. Every session ends with a hand-set closing note. The ending is the whole point.
  
  FOR YOUR PEOPLE, NOT AN AUDIENCE
  Connect with the handful of people who matter and quietly sort them by how close they are. Share
  text, a photo, or a small poll. Reply privately. Mark a note "seen, with thanks." No performance,
  no metrics — just keeping in touch.

  CALM ON PURPOSE
  CatchUp is built to be used briefly and left alone. No streaks to protect, no badges to chase, no
  notifications begging you back. Just a paper-and-ink almanac feel, a real daylight arc across
  your day, and a little room to breathe.

  CatchUp is for adults (18+). Every post and person can be reported, and anyone can be blocked; we
  act on reports within 24 hours.
