Thanks ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Widget Broken *2026-07-23* The Home Screen widget shows the daily catechism question, but the text color is barely distinguishable from the background (dark gray on black) — completely unreadable regardless of whether the phone is in Light or Dark mode. This isn’t a system dark-mode contrast issue; the widget text stays the same dark color in both modes. Also noticed the widget/app doesn’t respond to switching Light/Dark mode live — it only picks up the change after a full reinstall, and even then the widget’s text color doesn’t improve either way. There’s no setting inside the app or the widget itself to change text color, theme, or contrast for the widget specifically. Would love to see this fixed — the daily question widget is the main reason I use this app, but right now it’s non-functional. However, it would be really nice to have the Baptist Catechism based off the 2nd LBCF 1689. It would such a blessing to many of those in the Baptist world. None of our older Catechisms seem to make it in app form. There are some slight nuanced differences that would be appreciated if it could be included. Very usable. *2023-08-19* Using this with my two boys (8 and 5), and it’s a very easy way of practicing the shorter catechism. Very cool feature that lets you blur the answer while looking at the question, and then simply tap the screen to show the full answer. I also LOVE that it has not only Scripture references for each Q&A but it provides the full text of each reference right there below the answer. It’s vital to me that I help my kids see how each of these answers is derived directly from numerous portions of Scripture.
