## What is Catfinity?

Catfinity is an idle RPG with an unreasonable amount of game inside it.

Adopt a colony of pixel cats, give every one of them a job, and send them after
loot. They keep earning while you're away, and NAPPING is literally how you get
stronger — the whole prestige ladder is built around the laziest thing a cat does.

JOBS
Thirty classes, from Rancher and Fishercat to Ninja, Necromancer and Pyromancer.
Each has its own hat, its own levels, and abilities that change what your colony
earns.

QUESTS & DUNGEONS
Build a balanced five-cat party — tank, healer, support, damage — choose your own
difficulty, and read the real odds before you commit. A failed run costs you time,
not cats.

RAIDS
A daily world boss with stances and weaknesses, holding the only Mythic and
Rainbow gear in the game.

FISHING
A pixel pond stocked with 42 species, rare chests, better rods, and one extremely
elusive Rainbow Shark.

LEADERBOARDS
Every month is a fresh season that resets for everyone at the same moment, so a
new colony is never racing a two-year-old one. 227 achievements along the way.

COLLECT & BUILD
17 cat breeds across five biomes. Potions to brew, ore to mine, herbs to grow,
and a dog, a bear and a tortoise who move in and stay.

PRESTIGE
Naps, cosmic naps, Purrvana, and beyond.

THE HONEST PART
Free to play forever. Purchases are cosmetics, music tracks and small boosts —
no paywalls, no energy timers holding your cats hostage. Ads are optional and
rewarded-only.

Offline progress means the colony never stops purring. Check in for two minutes
or lose an entire evening. The cats don't judge. Much.

Another cat game? Yes. You're welcome.

### 5/5 — Really good incremental game

Wish I could figure out how to catch the rainbow shark, though. He doesn’t bite the rainbow bait

Update I figured it out. Amazing game

I love the raids aspect! Fishing is really fun.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.9 — 2026-09-09

The Aquarium: a room of your own on the Docks, built from the fish you actually caught. Eighteen tanks, each one its own glass, gravel, decorations and side pieces - and a hall you can retile and repaper behind them.

Feed them and they bond: five paw hearts a fish, earned a full meal at a time. A bonded fish grows to half again its size, brings a shoal of its own kind along, and at five hearts starts laying eggs for the Hatchery.

The Hopper grinds bait into feed: one lure makes ten sacks, one sack is one meal. Feed a tank or feed the whole wall - then swim down the row and watch every tank eat, because the meal waits for you to arrive.

It rains dinner. A feeding frenzy now drops food and drink out of the sky, and if a Rainbow Dance Party catches the colony mid-meal they will bat the snacks around the terrarium like a beach ball.

Also in this update:
- The Fish Log is a proper collection now: every species by water, with its record, and the fish tracker moved here
- Monster picker cards show a creature's rarity, so "Legendary or better" is answerable
- A summoned creature arrives on its own class's effect - the necromancer's spirits, the alchemist's bubbles, the rancher's dust
- Tasks lost their sizes, gained an X that removes them, and a finished one is crossed out in both places
- A quick task typed on the terrarium is no longer lost when the keyboard closes
- Prestige is clearer about what it takes: the cats you have bought, never your job levels

### 1.0.8 — 2026-09-07

Prowess: every cat, creature and hired paw now wears a crossed-swords number that says how hard it hits. Tap it to see exactly how it adds up - job level, skills and gear - and watch quests, dungeons, raids and the world boss all read it. Sort the Jobs and Monsters pages by Prowess, name or level.

Fresh Catch: every fish you land at the pond or the ocean feeds the colony a little extra purr for a while, and the catches stack up.

Pisces Pounce: the fish fall on the beat of Just Breathe, a rotten fish caught under the star still pays a fish, and endless mode counts what you caught.

Also in this update:
- The Hatchery crash on a quick exit is fixed
- The menu opens instantly instead of pausing for a second
- Cats no longer float above the ground after loading
- Creature ranks use plain words: Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Rainbow
- Converting a stack of prestige tokens spends the ten it needs and leaves the rest
- The Monsters page is easier to read, and each card shows its outings left as paws
- Quest and dungeon cards are tidier, and the achievement pin sits out of the way of the rewards
- Naming a cat refreshes the card you named it from

### 1.0.7 — 2026-09-05

MONSTERS. Eggs in the Hatchery don't always hold treasure - sometimes something hatches. 160 creatures across every rarity, each with its own art, its own idle and its own voice. They live in the Monster Pen, they join your party like any cat, and they're yours until their outings run out.

PISCES POUNCE, a new game at the Docks. Fish come over the treeline in five rounds - Easy, Normal, Hard, or Endless for as long as you can hold on. Let the green ones drop. A star turns your cat rainbow and untouchable for a while, and your record follows you between runs.

Also in this update:
- Notifications when an egg hatches, a raid falls, or a quest or dungeon comes home - each kind on its own switch
- Eggs and the focus timer count the time you spent away
- Monster quests, dungeons and a raid cycle of their own, and tavern patrons who ask for creatures by name
- Necromancers raise the fallen; beastmasters call the wild
- Fifty-odd new achievements, and three unfinished ones you can pin to the top
- Fishing fights back: ten hooked patterns, five bites, and meters worth watching
- The Collection folds into categories with a jump row across the top
- Auto Egg Placer seats a whole clutch in one tap
- Shiny eggs cycle rainbow everywhere they're drawn
- Wider boards: seven quests and five dungeons at once
- Big performance pass on the Hatchery, the Colony and the dungeons
- Quest, dungeon and raid result cards are far less busy
- Birds over the trees and a duck on the pond, just because
- One type scale and one set of inks across every screen
- 146 bugs fixed from a top-to-bottom audit

### 1.0.5 — 2026-08-31

The Planner arrives! A cozy productivity add-on in the new Add-Ons shop: tasks, dailies and a focus timer drawn right into your terrarium. The colony sleeps while you work and cheers when you finish - it pays no currency, just calm.

Also in this update:
- Every class has its commissioned outfit now - all the job kittens are in the game, hats and all
- New Equipment menu: optimize your whole colony for raiding, questing, item finding or gathering in one tap, with the full gear ledger beneath
- Gear decks show your bonus now, at best, and the gain; the picker only shows what your cat's class can wear
- The paw menu came alive: cats modeling jobs, swimming fish, and more
- Barnaby settles his weekly order with a proper celebration
- Your fishercat now stays with you between pond and ocean
- Fixed: cosmic-ladder perks and biomes stay yours after a Purrvana
- Piles of polish: colors, sliders, sleepy meter cat, sound and music fades

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-24

New in this update:
• Cryomancer and Necromancer now have full class bodies, not just hats.
• Every class fights with its own weapon or spell — the Alchemist throws potions, the Paladin swings a hammer, and each healer heals in their own style.
• Poke the kittens in the menu for a little surprise.

Fixed:
• The raid damage meter now keeps step with the boss's health bar while the animation plays.
• The Field Guide had it wrong about where Mythic and Rainbow gear comes from — the daily raid drops them too, on the harder difficulties.
• Sunken chests can no longer appear beyond the furthest place you can cast.
• The dungeon page no longer stretches wider than the screen.
• Cats keep their hats on quests and dungeons.
• Achievement pop-ups stay on the home screen.
• Prestige ceremonies play without interruption.
• The left menu and cat cards line up properly.
