I especially like the daily readings that come with it and the ability to copy and paste text. I believe the app could be better and easier to use, and so that is why I only gave it four stars. One issue is that I cannot figure out how to stop it for displaying in two separate panels. It is not intuitive. Also, frequently the verse of the day is not displayed, even though it is part of my selection. The app doesn’t automatically open to my daily Bible reading. Hope this feedback helps the designers to improve it. ### 5/5 — Great app *2017-12-21, version 3.5* It is much easier to use in our Bible Study. It’s easy to find the page and see the print. Tapping on the reference makes it easy to find the footnotes. ### 4/5 — Very Thorough *2017-12-21, version 3.5* I’ve been using this app since 2013 and have taken countless notes, highlights, bookmarks, and tags. Tags are like keywords. The only problem is, with the last update, you can’t search using those tags anymore. That’s a major hit to it’s usefulness and I hope they fix this. Otherwise, the app is good and pleasing to the eye. ### 4/5 — Although it says with audio, there is not. *2017-12-16, version 3.5* I use this bible and was happy to see the advertised details indicated it comes with audio but it is not so, a bit disappointed. ### 5/5 — Is great *2017-11-29, version 3.4* I have an iPhone X. I’m running iOS 11.1.2. The Bible app starts up and shows the purple and blank white, just a second before it crashes and dumps back to the main iOS icons. Upgraded My phone and now it won’t work. All I get is an error message that I’m not connected to internet but I am connected. It now says internet access is required to use the app all the time when I do indeed have internet access. I have lost access to all versions of bibles I previously purchased. I wish I hadn’t. This app charges a high amount for features that are free in other Bible apps such as split screen reading. Some features are altogether missing like comparing versions. I’m offended by the ‘What’s New’ postings that constantly ask for a subscription. I do like the clean look and user interface. ### 2/5 — App Crashes *2017-12-17, version 3.5* Fix the version 3.5 ASAP! The app takes on average 17-20 seconds to open any given book of the Bible, then another 10-15 seconds to select a chapter, and then the same for verse! Unacceptable. And, when you tap the "Contact Us" bar, the app shuts off. Ugh. With each version update, all of my highlights shift left or right from what was previously highlighted. Very frustrating that this occurs with EACH version update. I do enjoy this Catholic Bible, but with each version update, something else always goes wrong. 2 out of 5 stars. ### 3/5 — Crashes after iOS 15.6.1 update *2022-08-27, version 3.5* Five stars for app before it became nonfunctional after iOS 15.6.1 update. Bought the app thinking it would come with audio. Find out after purchasing that they require a $1 per week to get that feature. What did I pay $2 for? The format is attractive, 'clean' and straightforward-- easy to use, bookmark and move from one section to another. I like the historical information and references notes at the beginning of each book and 'tap' footnotes in each book. They provide texture and better understanding for me. I don't use a lot of 'bells and whistles', so can't address features that may be important to other readers. The only improvement would be to “The Bible In A Year”. Other versions contain each day a short reading in the Old Testament, the New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs until the Bible is completed.
