I love the calendar. It’s helped me during Easter services too as I’m a sacristan and Easter can get very stressful with all the different things needing doing. It’s always there for me to pray the liturgy of the hours as well. I know universalis is a one time purchase but not sure if it has everything like Catholic calendar does. Thanks for maintaining this app, it’s very useful and helpful. Besides the liturgy of the hours, there are other features such as Catholic prayers and information about the feast of the day. I love listening to Martin’s voice when the periodical ‘listen for free’ is offered. Every time I have had to make an enquiry about accessing a certain feature of the App, I have always been promptly replied to. Thank you for such a great prayer tool. I use it every morning to look at the saint of the day and the mass readings I find the commentary for the mass readings to be most helpful. Recently I have begun listening to the weekly podcast which comments on the liturgy of the hours and the lives of the various Saints. I’d hate to have to answer for the profiteering in the name of the Lord when the day arrives. Little by littles the sales funnel narrows. Slowly taking functions once free, and holding them random in lieu of your credit card information. Now, you suddenly can’t add remembrance cards with cashing them out. What’s worse is that you can’t edit the cards you had in the remembrance card database without paying. Spend money on a good set of missals and other books of catechetical necessity. Pay once and live your faith off of the web, it’s all a money grab. We are all advised of these ‘bad actors’ through the scripture. The books available through the app are incredible!
