### 5/5 — Love it but can be better

*2026-04-17*

Include prayers in the app and its perfect

### 5/5 — Helpful before confession

*2026-03-26*

I started using this on Saturday nights to prepare for confession on Sunday. It helps me slow down and actually think through my week instead of panicking in the pew. I like being able to jot down small things I would normally forget.

### 5/5 — Good

*2026-02-19*

Nice app, works great for what you’d need it for. Pricing is a bit steep for what the app offers; I think $25 a year would be worth it for me to be a continual subscriber

### 5/5 — Abin

*2026-01-21*

App is helpful for preparing and reflecting before going to confession. It is easy to use and clear. It makes the sacrament feel more organized, peaceful, and spiritually meaningful.

### 5/5 — A Must-Have for Confession Prep

*2026-01-02*

Such a helpful and well-built app! I love how I can privately write down reflections and review them before confession. The encryption gives peace of mind, and the layout makes everything simple. A must-have for any Catholic who wants to stay more organized in their spiritual journey.

### 5/5 — Excellent tool for confession preparation

*2025-12-24*

This app is a really helpful companion for preparing for Confession. The interface is clean and easy to use, and the way it helps organize thoughts and reflections makes the process much clearer and more intentional. I especially appreciate the focus on privacy and the structured approach, which saves time and reduces anxiety before confession. It feels thoughtfully designed and respectful of its purpose. Highly recommended for anyone looking to deepen their spiritual practice.

### 1/5 — Unable To Proceed Past Setting My Last Confession Date (New user)

*2026-07-24, version 1.2.6*

I am sure this app isn’t worth 1 stars, but I am unable to get past the initial setup on my iPhone SE 2, :( I had such high hopes for this app as I already loved the app screenshots & reviews, but no matter what accessibility feature I toggle (Zoom, Assistive Touch, Gestures, Tiny Text*, Etcetera), I don’t see any next/enter/proceed button for me to be able to move past setting when my last confession date was. I hated to have to remove this app. Does anyone else have this issue with iPhone SE 2 (or any other tiny/mini iPhone model?) Any fixes, cause this techie is stumped! — Dear Developers, I have a screen recording of this rare issue if there’s anywhere for me to send it! I’d be more than happy to share this! :) Thanks!

### 1/5 — Not free, and not confident it’s private

*2026-07-10*

I couldn’t use the app in any function unless I signed up for a paid subscription. Thankfully there was a free trial so I saw what the app looks like, but I immediately canceled my subscription.

### 1/5 — Not free

*2026-04-17*

Couldn’t get the free trial to work, so I don’t know if I like the app and want to pay. Ended up deleting it since there was no way to use the app at any level without paying.

### 1/5 — They defile the sacrament

*2026-02-18*

They require you to log in using a email and sell your data. Ultimately defiling the sacrament. Since they sell your sins and your identity to others. This is not Catholic

### 2/5 — Have to make an account

*2026-04-14*

I didn’t get past the beginning because you have to make an account.

I didn’t like that and so deleted the app, I dont want my information being saved somewhere outside of my phone.

### 2/5 — No way to edit!

*2026-03-07*

I forgot to mark my confession as completed for a specific date & when I tried to add it in the next day, it wouldn’t let me choose the day prior. It’s so frustrating not being able to edit the dates or delete confessions on there if I input it on accident. Would also be great if it had what to say every step during confession & the act of contrition in the app when clicking through.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for this thoughtful feedback! We are a small team on a mission to help more people draw closer to Jesus, and your suggestions are exactly what we need to grow. We completely agree—an interactive examination of conscience and having the Act of Contrition right there during Confession would be incredibly helpful. We are actively working on an update to add these exact features very soon. Thank you for your patience as our little studio builds this out. Please keep us in your prayers, and we hope our next update earns those extra two stars! God bless you on your journey.

### 3/5 — It’s ok…

*2026-03-07*

It’s good in concept but missing a lot. For instance, an examination of conscience that you can click to add sins would be super helpful. Also why is the act of contrition not included when you go to confession? Add that.

**Developer response:** We are so sorry for the frustration this caused! You are absolutely right—not being able to edit dates or delete accidental entries is a hassle, and we are fixing this. We are a small Catholic studio working hard to build tools that bring people closer to the Sacraments, and feedback like yours is a huge blessing. We are currently building an update that will allow you to edit your Confession history, and we are also adding a step-by-step guide (including the Act of Contrition) for when you are in the confessional. Thank you for your grace and patience with us in these early days. We hope to have this fixed for you soon and would be honored to earn a 4 or 5-star review once we do! God bless.

### 4/5 — My Review

*2026-07-08*

I enjoy the idea of this journaling app, only thing I am seeing is that the system doesn’t seem to be as accurate determining if my sin is venial or mortal, I placed skipped mass as a test and it kept placing as venial. If you can get it to be as accurate I would continue the subscription.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the thoughtful feedback — accuracy matters deeply to us. You're right that skipping Mass is grave matter, and we're updating the classification. One note on our approach: because a sin is only mortal when grave matter is joined with full knowledge and deliberate consent, the app can't declare any act mortal for a specific person — so we'll label it "grave matter (potentially mortal)" and always point users to a priest for their situation. The fix is on the way, and we hope you'll stick with us.

### 4/5 — Encourages regular reflection

*2026-03-26*

I used to only think about my sins right before going to church. Now I check in every couple of days. It’s helped me see progress too, not just failures, which has been encouraging in a quiet way.

### 5/5 — Thoughtful, Useful, and Continually Improving

*2026-08-12*

I’ve really come to appreciate this app, both for what it does and for how responsive the developers have been to feedback.

What I find most helpful is the way the app takes my notes and helps summarize them into a clear, concise format for Confession. It helps me examine what I need to confess beforehand and then simply state my sins clearly when I’m there—rather than turning Confession into a therapy session.

The recent update made an already useful app even better. It now includes a password reset option, a Daily Examen, the ability to identify sins as mortal or venial, and a prayer library. I had previously contacted the developers about the lack of a password reset option, so I especially appreciate seeing that addressed.

It’s a thoughtful app that helps me prepare for the sacrament, stay focused during Confession, and continue reflecting afterward. I also appreciate that the developers seem genuinely interested in improving the app based on user feedback. Highly recommend!
