There are many small bugs. It would be helpful to click on a link, say in the upper right corner of any page, to let you know of a problem. Have the comments enter into a dataset/database that you can click working on or done as you move through the list. I assume you want to address issues and improve the app. ### 2/5 — Currently broken *2025-04-06, version 2.2* The app has been broken since the last update resulting in missing words and difficult to navigate UI. Fix the last update, please!! *2025-04-02, version 2.2* As a spiritual director, I often recommend this app for its ease of use. You can add a PIN number for added privacy. Bonus: no data collected by the developer. However, the update March 2025 completely messed up the app. I messaged the developer, but no response. ☹️ Only the icons appear on the main menu, but no description. Fortunately, when I click the proper place, my previously recorded sins are visible. 😮‍💨 PLEASE FIX YOUR APP, I MISS USING IT!! ### 3/5 — All the titles of my tabs disappeared *2025-03-28, version 2.2* I loved this app so much, it is such a great tool and help for me and my kids but unfortunately, after the last update of my phone, all the titles of the tabs in the app disappeared. I have to guess where I have to type in things and if possible I would like to know if there is a way to solve this issue. I immediately know how long it’s been since my last confession and I can set a reminder for when I want to go again. I like that the act of contrition is available in the “reconciliation” tab. For me, I wish that there could be a way that I could add some personal points in the examination of conscience. Perhaps an examination on the page, separate from the other examinations, that could be editable where I could list the sins and faults I am working on? Ignition spirituality suggests doing this and I was using another app (that has disappeared) that enabled this feature and it was very helpful. I feel this app is getting me “off the fence” and a “lukewarm” Christian. I treat others better and hoping I treat myself better; I believe that my thoughts and behaviors are directly related to how well or unwell I am. This app guides me to the center of what’s really going on( good and not so good). I recommend this app to everyone, especially if the feeling of a void isn’t leaving and can’t be filled with whatever else is or has been replacing Our Savior. It’s easy to use and allows you to reflect each day. I like that it has everything you need to reflect and go to confession. Very please. Developer is also eager for feedback. So happy I downloaded to use on my walk in faith. ### 5/5 — Freedom to Confess *2021-10-24, version 1.6.1* Great way to track sins, share in confessional and then watch them be released and forgiven. Had an issue and the developer helped resolve it very quickly. If you want to grow in virtue this app will help ### 2/5 — Account Registration is a Bust *2021-09-27, version 1.6.1* I like the concept of the app. It makes me think about things I am grateful for, what I have done through my day, and makes me more aware of the things I need to do better. The down side of the app is that I can not register. The account registration does not work at all. ### 5/5 — I want to use this app, but *2021-03-27, version 1.6* Why does it require you to log in? Why not just let the user create a 3 or 4-digit passcode to access the app? I also agree with the lack of contrast in some texts as stated by other reviewers. I barely could see where to log in. Notwithstanding my review, I rate it 5 stars because I think the concept of your app is excellent even though I have yet to use it. I am just concerned for the need to log in. I don't always, but I make use of it frequently. It helps me to remember to be Thankful, what I would like to pray for and areas to focus on, to review my day for when God was most prevalent, and finally, a chance to look at my actions/thoughts/decisions from the day allowing me to list areas where I need to ask for forgiveness. I then go to the Thankfulness section and list the places I felt were successful through God’s grace and guidance—an excellent time for reflection. When the time comes for reconciliation, I run the examination of conscience section (In my case, the commandments and as a married person). The areas that I mark I feel I have not lived up to or need to work on are now listed along with anything needing forgiveness/ reflections since the last reconciliation. Once I enter the confessional room, my app is opened, and I am now given the number of days since the last confession, all of my sins, and the proceedings of the sacrament, including the act of contrition (what to say and do). To start again, you are prompted with a question regarding your attendance at the sacrament. Then, the count begins again. As your sins are washed away, so are your listed infractions. You are starting fresh! The only thing I would request as a change to the app would be: greater details in sin (examples?Command. 2, 9, 10 and provide the option for prayers before and after the sacrament. It has all the features I need plus a few I don’t use. It broke in march of 2025 and I was so disappointed, but I uninstalled and redownloaded it and now it works perfectly again!
