I was deeply disappointed in this app and the customer support. I, like others, signed up for the year subscription. I’m almost positive I cancelled the auto renew option but again, like others, was charged a year later. I was charged the high amount I paid the year before but realized that the company actually lowered their price significantly. I asked for a refund, was told “of course”, but never received it. After about 4 back and forth exchanges, each one taking them weeks to reply to, I was told there is nothing they can do, not even reimburse me the difference between the amount I paid and what their actual rates currently are. The rates were changed well before my renewal as well so there is a definite flaw in their system or it’s intentionally a scam. The app and its content are lacking and I originally gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking they were a new company and would be improving. Nope, they’re just a bad company.

### 1/5 — A “Catholic” Company with ZERO customer service

In October 2025, I paid for a yearly subscription to Catholic Brain. I was genuinely excited to use the resources and bring an extra layer of Catholicism into my home for my children. However, in November I was unexpectedly charged again—this time for a monthly subscription. I immediately emailed their information desk with my receipt attached, asking for clarification, and received absolutely no response.
As a busy working mom, it slipped my mind temporarily—until I was charged yet again at the beginning of December. Since then, I have sent another email, called and left three voicemails, and even filled out a refund form. I still have not heard a single word back.
At this point, I am incredibly frustrated and honestly disappointed that a Catholic organization would ignore paying customers entirely. I have since cancelled my subscription and strongly urge others to avoid this company until they can demonstrate basic customer service.

This is a good app because it it so much easier than reading a giant book that is a lot of money
