It seems good that you added a section on indigenous tribes. I haven’t fully looked through.. I’m going it’s respectful & meant to help with reconciliation. However, the term “Indian” is outdated and inappropriate. “Indigenous Peoples” is a better term/title for that section. ### 3/5 — Flaw *2018-10-05* iPhone Xs using latest update, once an article is opened you are not able to back out as the Back Button is in the upper left corner mixed w the apple “time”. I was looking for my Founder and for a few other more contemporary and prominent men and women of the church but I didn't find them! Blessed John Baptist Scalabrini (Proclaimed patron of migrants together with mother Cabrini by John Paul II) is missing. Why? Please do it asap. ### 4/5 — Good source of Catholic knowledge *2012-05-04, version 1.0.3* As with all apps from Divine Office.org it's interface is graphically rich, and well thought out. If your iPad has sufficient memory, you may download its entire content to the device. (However, this can take several hours.) if you don't have the room or just don't want the contentment resident on your device, than you will need to have Internet access. This app is a must for any Catholic who is interested in learning more about the faith. It would also serve the catechist well to have it. Finally anyone who wishes an easy and portable knowledge-base on Catholicism, will find this app extremely useful. I would give it a five had it been easier or quicker to have the entire contents download. ### 5/5 — Love it! *2012-03-16* I use this app regularly. So helpful and so much data... I found the search is easier if instead of searching through the entire book u narrow it down by category and/or first letter first. From there enter the keywords; with less data to load it finds the content quicker. I tried to look up St. Ignatius of Loyola, then St. Augustine, then St. Thomas Aquinas by typing their names into “Search.” All I got were articles that referred to them somewhere in the content of the article. I never found a main article about them. They were not even in an alphabetical list of hundreds of other saints. ### 1/5 — Utterly confusing *2012-09-06, version 1.0.4* I was very pleased with my initial uses. Then I searched for 'soterology' which produced no results. Fair enough - except my screen locked up and I could only hit the Quit button on my iPhone. Old review: ________________ The app itself is aesthetically gorgeous, but the slow backed server (it takes literally 10 hours on AT&T 3G) to download the ~400mb database. That is ridiculous, and even AFTER the app downloaded all of the data you STILL have to have a network connection to read them. This app was so incredibly terrible that I literally threw my phone in frustration at their slow server, and at the inability to read LOCALLY STORED ARTICLE without a network connection. DO NOT BUY. ### 1/5 — BUYER BEWARE *2012-04-22* This app. is worthless. It shuts down constantly, freezes, etc. It took me almost two minutes to scroll all the way down the M's to find mysticism. If you're offline and you've waited the 2-3 hours necessary to download all the contents in cached form, you can't browse or search, because you need to be online for that. I have so enjoyed praying the liturgical hours available from this same site but this app is a waste of money. Considering the wealth of information available, I sincerely hope they will continue to work on making this more efficient.
