The craft theme is really cute and the gameplay was tougher than I’ve come to expect from Gamehouse (which I liked). The only drawback was having to to pay $10 to finish the game, even if you’ve payed the Gamehouse subscription. You have to pay after level 10. No thanks! ### 2/5 — Not like other GameHouse games *2019-05-30, version 1.11* I chose Normal level, the one above beginner and I’m already struggling with level 8 and so on. The impatient customers lose patience way too fast. There’s too many of them and no time to help other customers, much less pay attention to the cat or find the mouse or some other 3rd task the game developers throw at you. It’s not fun and it’s not time management anymore. Too much is crammed into later stages and you don’t even get actual money income upgrades to make up for it. You can only purchase patience upgrades that don’t seem to work on the impatient ones. The storyline so far is okay but based on my impression so far, I will not buy the full game. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. I’m sorry you didn't enjoy the game. This game is too difficult. It often takes five or more tries at a level to achieve one star. Weak story, silly and forgettable characters, annoying cat, slow gameplay and it's impossible to complete all achievements--particularly the 3-star on every level. I love the Emily and Angela games, I don't even mind paying for them, but this one was a definite dud. If you're going to take our money GameHouse, do better. ### 2/5 — Really Upset - Only Ten levels are free *2017-01-16, version 1.11* I really like the game play and the difficulty level with the different items. That is the only reason I didn't score it a one star. After TEN levels, I am given the option of buying the next level for $1.99 or the entire game for $9.99! This game title does NOT say "Cathy's Crafts Lite". You cannot use some kind of gem or get enough coins or enough stars to "unlock" the next level. You are literally forced into paying cash to play the next level of the game. This is not at all what I anticipated as, again, the title does not indicate that it is only a sample of a game. While games are a waste of time as it is, I really enjoy them. However, I truly feel like I've wasted time reading the story line and even playing period as I've only gotten to level ten and it Will be deleted off my phone. Overall, a huge disappointment and I won't be downloading their alternate games. ### 3/5 — Really??😡😡 *2016-12-30, version 1.11* I loved this game as soon as I played it but then once I got to level ten and finished it it said I either I pay to play the next chapter or all of them or I don't play at all. I can definitely see the difference between Cathy and Emily at the beginning of the game, this Cathy game looks dated and not as modern as the other games by you guys. Doesn’t make sense to even have us choose then. On a video game, when you choose a character, that’s your avatar throughout the entire game, so why not the same here? Also, this particular game is not as exciting or graphically advanced as the others. Maybe it’s the music as well but it’s just boring. Didn’t really like it as much as Emily’s or Angela’s or Heart’s Medicine (which you still only get to play as one character by the way). 🤷🏽‍♀️🙄 **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback, I am sorry to hear you do not like this game as much. This game just seems really glitchy. I click on things and nothing happens. ### 1/5 — Didn't like *2017-06-18, version 1.11* I've been a huge fan of Emily games and the Hearts Medicine games, so I figured I'd try this since I've played all the other ones. It's terrible and boring. It's almost impossible to even get to 3 stars on most of the levels, once you get past the first one. DONT GET IT!! 😡 Not very fun! ### 1/5 — Not up to par *2016-11-07, version 1.11* I've been a long time Emily/Delicious fan. I've played literally every game of the series on either PC or iPhone. Emily games are hands down incredible. Great gameplay, beautiful graphics, an amazing story line, etc. I also greatly enjoyed Hearts Medicine and somewhat enjoyed the Angela games. This game however, is a major disappointment. The game is brutally slow, with no upgrades to walk faster(up to the part I'm currently on, not sure about future levels), which makes me not even want to play. There is no depth to the characters, making them forgettable. Some levels are impossible to get 3 stars on. Don't waste your money on this game. Something different from the GH crew 😊 now I admit this game was challenging! But I love a challenge :) I liked the change of doing crafts versus cooking and fashion, I thought it was a nice switch up from the norm and I loved the storyline and the characters. I played through it on expert and goodness did I get what I asked for! Lol 😆 but I love it when the expert mode truly is “expert” mode.
