I now just manage this using normal reminders on my phone. ### 2/5 — Update problems *2026-05-29, version 2.4.8* Everything worked fine in this app, on 5 WiFi instead of 2.5, for literally years but after the update my feeder was gone from the list so I reset it. Now it tells me it doesn’t support 5.0 WiFi and the whole thing is apparently trash now. ### 4/5 — One Feature from Glory *2026-03-05, version 2.4.0* What I would REALLY like to see is a “skip meal” button/feature for a single meal. When I feed my cat wet food, I have to go through the ordeal of deleting the meal off the daily schedule, then remember to add it back after the time has passed. This could be simplified by pressing “Skip meal”. Otherwise the app is great. ### 3/5 — Feeder notifications need filters *2026-03-02, version 2.4.0* There needs to be a way of selecting which notifications I receive from the app. Currently, it’s all or nothing based on the Settings app. The problem is that Catit sends a notification for each feeding occurrence, multiple times a day. This is unnecessary to me. What IS necessary, I would think for all users, is a notification when the food level is low or empty. I’m forced to either be spammed by the app or to turn it off entirely or use daily summary, both of which cause me to miss when the dispenser is empty. Please fix this! ### 4/5 — Great, but… *2026-03-01, version 2.4.0* Works well and works as described, but it needs the ability to feed “every x number of hours,” rather than at specific times. I want it to rotate every 4 hours (so it would go through all 6 chambers in one day), but there is no way to do this. I tried creating a schedule, but that doesn’t quite work because it doesn’t let you schedule the first meal, only meals 2-6. So if you space all those out by 4 hours, there ends up being an 8 hour gap between meal 6 and meal 2 (it essentially assumes you reload the tray and set it to meal 1 in between meal 6 and 2). ### 4/5 — Love the Bluetooth reminders *2026-02-14, version 2.4.0* Catit Waterer Only problem I can’t ready the line of message in red. My cats have figured out how to reset the scheduled times on the feeder. So now I have to cover the screens with lots of duct tape. I have the manual feed buttons turned off already but still they figure out how to turn it. ### 2/5 — Wifi connector *2025-08-28, version 2.4.0* That's it. That's all this ecommerce app is good for, and that's only because the click on the feeder drifts sooo badly. And even just for that, I need an account 😣 ### 2/5 — Please fix feeder software bug *2025-07-21, version 2.4.0* Update: with the latest update the UV clarification is fully out of sync in the app main screen, and in the Pump's screen, and with the hardware. Even if I trigger it these don't happen at the same time, the app main screen and Pump's screen feedback is random, it does not show when the clarification happens, and when one says it is clarifying and xy:zw minutes left then the other screen tells differently. Schedule is still wrong, water pump turns on randomly in the middle if the night with disabled schedule which needs a fix ASAP, and even with the feeder when you delete scheduled feeding that is reappearing randomly. Could you please either fix the schedule in the pump firmware+software very urgently and in the feeder app ASAP, or please hire me so I would fix it. Original feedback: There is a feeder bug, if you ever added a scheduled meal and then one day you deleted it, it keeps coming back!!! Which is a disaster at the moment. Could you please fix it asap so the food would not get spilled while I clean around the house? The previously deleted schedules re-appearing are very unexpected and I usually notice when the bowl is removed for cleaning in that room! Thank you. Otherwise we like these products. The smart fountain gets algae sometimes which is also unexpected (we keep it away from sunlight), pity there is no cleaning kit sold for it so I ended up buying the cleaner kit for the flower fountan. The software piece for the fountain works well, and for the camera too. Because of the feeder bug I give 3 stars, but as soon as it gets fixed I will rate 5 stars. Thanks.♥️ Update: they did NOT fix the above but re-introduced an earlier bug! The feeder keeps beeping for no reason since the last firmware upgrade, and what I DO NOT appreciate at all: they changed the app behavior on firmware update availability, earlier the app let me manage the device even if there was a not installed firmware upgrade which was the CORRECT BEHAVIOR, but now the app does not let me enter the device and for instance feed the Cat if there is a stupid firmware upgrade because it wants to force me to take the upgrade WHICH IS THE INCORRECT BEHAVIOR. Could you please restore the previous app version and work on the fixes asap!? ### 1/5 — Simply does not work as intended *2025-06-20, version 2.4.0* The app will either not update me if food has been dispensed where I am worried about whether or not my cat is getting food while I’m away, or it will continuously auto feed even with absolutely no schedule and the device reset. I’ve had nothing but issues with this, wouldn’t recommend. Doesn’t look like the developers are doing anything to fix these terrible reviews anyways. ### 4/5 — Works great but missing features *2025-06-05, version 2.4.0* Like many people in these reviews, I struggled at first to set the machines up with WiFi. But I figured it out. Your phone has to be connected to the 2.4Ghz connection while setting up so that that’s what the devices authenticate into. Generally people thinking their router doesn’t support 2G are just not aware of their internet provider settings, which is where you can set up additional networks. Look for option to add an IoT network, this is standard because security-wise you should not have random smart devices on the same network as your secured devices (phones, computers…). Anyway it’s super convenient to be able to see my cats food bowl with the mouse camera and adjust the schedule if he hasn’t yet finished the current meal. Or manually dispense the next meal if motion detection goes off and I see my cat waiting for his food 😹 The one frustrating thing is that I can only turn the dish clockwise. Often I forget to cancel the next scheduled meal after manually serving it, so it moves to the next section. If I’m not home or he’s on my lap, I have to do the manual serve 4 more times to get back to them current meal section, I should be able to turn it counter clockwise from the app like you can from the feeder’s interface. It will be working fine on the set schedule then all of a sudden will start pumping out way too much food. Was easy to set up and schedule periodic dry food snacks. BUT IT DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO SET UP DIFFERENT SCHEDULES FOR DIFFERENT DAYS. If I knew this going in I may have purchased a different product. As I primarily manually feed my cats wet food on days that I’m home, I would like to schedule the feeder to give a dry “lunch” on days i work outside of the home. If you make things complicated, just gives the opportunity for things to not work. I got this home and apparently it had already been returned by somebody. Now I know why. Complete ripoff. ### 1/5 — Glitch in app *2025-03-23, version 2.2.6* No matter how many times I select and deselect days on the feeding schedule, it says “no meals found” for Thursday Friday and Saturday. And every time I try to get in contact with the company it just takes me straight to their FAQ page so there’s no way to figure this out.
