CattleScale estimates the live weight of an animal from photographs. Photograph a beast from up to four angles, name something of known size in the frame, and CattleScale returns an estimated live weight with a range, the measurements behind it, an assessment of type and condition, and an indicative dollar value based on published Meat & Livestock Australia market indicators. Part of every assessment is free. The weight itself, the measurements behind it and the valuation are unlocked one animal at a time. ESTIMATE ONLY - NOT A WEIGH SCALE CattleScale is not a weigh scale and is not certified for trade. Do not buy, sell, consign or calculate a drench dose from a number this app gives you. Sale by weight in Australia requires a scale approved under the National Measurement Act 1960. A photograph has no scale of its own, so the estimate depends on the reference object you name. Gut fill varies through the day, coat and condition disguise frame, and camera angle distorts proportion. Every reading shows a range and a confidence tier, and lists the specific things that hurt that assessment. Read them before you act. NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED There is no sign-up and no password. Your photographs are read by an AI provider to produce the assessment and are deleted from our systems once it finishes. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking. ## Pricing and in-app purchases Base price: Free. **One-time purchases** | Purchase | Price | Type | | --- | --- | --- | | Unlock this weight | $0.99 | one-time | | Weight report | $9.95 | one-time | | 200 weighings | $79.99 | one-time | | 500 weighings | $179.99 | one-time | | 50 weighings | $24.99 | one-time | | 100 weighings | $44.99 | one-time | | 250 weighings | $99.99 | one-time | ## Version history (last 4 releases) ### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-05 Weighing packs are here. Buy 50, 100, 200, 250 or 500 weighings up front and unlock each animal with one tap, at a lower price per animal. No account needed. Your packs stay with your Apple ID, so "Restore my packs" brings them back on a new phone or after a reinstall. ### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-01 Now in Português and Polski. Pick your language at the top of the screen — the app, your results and the PDF report all follow it, and so do the camera and photo permission messages. The translations aren't perfect yet, but they're there to make CattleScale easier to use if English isn't your first language. Weigh herd after herd. Every animal unlocks on its own, as many as you need, one after another. More reliable reports. The PDF weight report now generates every time. Tell us how it's going. After a few weighings you may see a quick prompt to rate CattleScale. It helps other farmers find the app. ### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-30 A two-page PDF report of any weighing you have unlocked: the weight and its range, today's value, condition, measurements and your photographs, ready to save to Files or send to your agent. New store screenshots, and a fix so a purchase is always settled on the first try. ### 1.0 — 2026-09-09 No release notes. ## Apps similar to CattleScale | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Global Farms](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/global-farms/id6476103867) | — | Free | Business | | [YardsTech App by FarmXL](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/yardstech-app-by-farmxl/id1500988313) | — | Free | Business | | [Outdoor Living & Caravan Expo](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/outdoor-living-and-caravan-expo/id6737528649) | — | Free | Business | ## More apps by Origae - [PaceBrain](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/pacebrain/id6759993012) - [TradeitUp](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/tradeitup/id6762502161) - [Affectly](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/affectly/id6783315588) - [Shoe Sherlock](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/shoe-sherlock/id6785850913) All apps by Origae: https://appshunter.io/developer/1882172107 ## Related topics [scalescanr](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/scalescanr) · [chubby cattle](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/chubby-cattle) · [cattle weight](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/cattle-weight) --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
