## What is Cav League?

Cav League is built for pickup and rec basketball groups who are tired of juggling group texts, spreadsheets, and “who’s in for Saturday?” threads. Create your own league in minutes—or join one with a short invite code—and keep everything for your group in one place: game day schedule and location, invites and RSVPs, optional wake check before tip-off, results, leaderboards, and tournament tracking.

The new clip feed turns highlights into something your league actually shares: post short videos, tag teammates, comment, and browse posts from your crew. Whether you’re the organizer sending invites or a player confirming you’re awake and ready to run, Cav League keeps your Saturday (or any day) league organized, competitive, and connected—without the chaos.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.6 — 2026-08-24

Bug fixes

### 2.0.5 — 2026-08-23

- New: League Fees tab — see everyone's fee balance, what they were charged for, and payment history, right in Cav League (between Results and Trash Talk)
- New: Notifications — get notified when someone rates, comments on, or replies to your clips, follows you, or tags you in a video, with an unread-count badge on your profile
- Fixed: tapping a clip on your profile now reliably opens and plays the video, with an easy-to-reach close button
- Fixed: Home tab — the fee-owed banner and dashboard cards no longer overlap the tab bar; the screen scrolls properly now
- Faster clip loading — reduced bandwidth contention in the feed and improved caching so clips load quicker

### 2.0.4 — 2026-08-09

- Optional game recap write-up when you record a score
- Push notification redesigned: "Results Are In!" → score → who beat who → "Tap to Read Game Notes"
- Tapping that notification opens the Cav League Home tab, where the recap shows for 12 hours
- Fixed: fee input box no longer hidden behind the keyboard
- New: automatic monthly reminder push to anyone with an unpaid fee balance

### 2.0.3 — 2026-08-07

Night-before game reminder
- Push notification the night before game day with time/location, plus a "Set Alarm" button (opens the Clock app on iPhone)

Faster, local game-location search
- Search results now bias toward wherever the admin's phone currently is, with a shorter typing delay

Game result push notifications
- Saving a final score now automatically pushes the result to the whole league — who played, who won, the score

Code review + fixes
- Found and fixed two real bugs: rescheduling a game used to silently kill future reminders, and location search could permanently mpt
- Cleaned up several bits of duplicated code along the way

### 2.0.2 — 2026-07-16

- New Feature, Fees added.
- Bug fixes
