It is an excellent resource for beginner and intermediate. ### 5/5 — This app crashes after one hour of use *2017-07-13, version 2.1.5* Though I deem this app very useful to learn Arabic language in a quick way - at least for verbs conjugation which is the core for learning Arabic - since I've bought it one week ago, it has crashed twice, even after switching between the two Alphabet settings available, that is, Geeza that should be more compatible with Apple ios, and Naskh, the Google Arabic set which is precise and more readable in displaying the diacritical points in small devices. I've sent a mail to Cjki, via the Libera app, another useful Cjki application, to know how they are going to solve this problem, as I can't delete and download again an app after just an hour of use. My iphone is a 5s with ios 10.3.2. So even if - if it wouldn' crash - the app deverves a five stars, I will give it a two stars check. *** Since twenty days of extensive use, mo more crashes occurred. My advice - if you want to speed your Arabic - is to to buy this App the soonest: the steep price represents its real usefulness. I'm also eager to buy the dictionary which they hinted at, somewhere, they are preparing: hope the Arabic section will follow Hans Wehr's dictionary tracks, that is, root verb forms with all the derivative meanings. ### 5/5 — Most useful app for Arabic conjugation *2016-01-27, version 2.1.1* Not only is this the best app of its kind, it's the most effective tool anywhere for conjugating Arabic verbs. In fact, I no longer turn to books or websites for conjugation, because this app is so much easier to use. Kudos to the developers! More verbs, especially irregular forms, would be a most welcome addition. ### 5/5 — Mr. *2016-01-27, version 2.1.1* I have to say that the Verb Conjugator is an excellent resource for a learner of Arabic whether your beginner or advanced. It has an incredible amount of detail on each verb and I keep finding new options to view. It is laid out in a clear and concise manner beginning with the excellent font, all diacritical marks, and an enlarged font size in the single view mode that fantastic to view individually or when demonstrating in a group situation. I am continually using the pronunciation buttons to practice and review saying the sometimes awkward sound combinations in arabic. We are now learning the verbal form tables in my second year university class and the options to view tenses, basic forms, and verbal form info, plus much more are amazingly complete with perfect use of layout, formats (colour, font types and sizes) and nested options to allow one to navigate to related info to your heart’s content. I purchase few apps and those that I do I choice carefully. This app has more than filled my expectation and I continue to find subsets of information that continue to impress and delight me. The Verb Conjugator is an invaluable tools worth every cent. I am anxiously waiting for the release of the CJKI Arabic Learner’s Dictionary and the Arabic Broken Plurals. ### 5/5 — a perfect app for unlocking arabic verb tenses. *2015-10-16, version 2.1.1* this is exactly what i was hoping someone would make. a great complimentary tool to an arabic dictionary. perfect for any student of arabic. highly recommended. anyone interested in this should also check out cjki’s libera app. which is also perfect. ### 5/5 — Great App for Learners of Arabic Grammar. *2015-10-14, version 2.1.1* الحمدالله This is the first app of its kind I've been able to find; one that tells you which baab a verb is from. It has many verbs in it (I've not come across a verb which this app doesn't contain), tells you which baab it's from, the conjugations of the verb in all of the different verb types (e.g. Passive, active, command, negative command among others). It contains regular verbs as well as irregular verbs. It also allows you to search for a verb through its conjugation, e.g. تنصر for the root word نصر. It also has many useful filters, e.g. Filtering by negative/positive, singular/dual/plural. I myself have found this app very useful, and it's great for anyone learning classical Arabic grammar. ### 5/5 — Very good app but please design an iPad version too! *2015-10-14, version 2.1.1* Quite helpful app for those who find it difficult to learn Arabic verb conjugations. Author needs to review the data ### 3/5 — Powerful reference tool for looking up one word, but fails in terms of aiding memorization *2018-05-17, version 3.0.2* First and foremost, this is the best database of Arabic verbs that I have ever found... nothing compares to it that I am aware of. I literally use it all the time while studying Classical Arabic. However, there is a serious problem that hinders its usability. And a few features that make it impossible to use for more serious tasks. 1.) you cant copy the verbs for pasting elsewhere. This means if I am making flashcards (for example with ANKI) I have to flip back and forth and type out the verb into the flashcard app. This takes a lot of time and really cuts down on the utility of this app. 2.) I’d love to be able to export custom datasets of selected verbs tenses, negations, etc. along with their translations and forms. This would enable me to make very sophisticated flashcards with Anki that I just don’t have the time to make typing them out manually. ### 4/5 — Expensive but worth it *2020-03-17, version 3.0.4* If it weren't for the price, I’d have given 5 stars. Would love to be able to toggle between the English and Arabic names for the tense and mood. I prefer to use المضارع المرفوع and المضارع المنصوب and المضارع المجزوم rather than the English. But everything else about the app is SPOT ON.
