It quickly became my favorite because it combined match-3 mechanics with RPG gameplay and a dash of mystery thrown in. In addition it had some really very unique match-3 gameplay that I have never found elsewhere. I found myself playing this game over and over, well after I completed the story in order to play the addictive match-3 challenges. After a few years, however, they stopped updating it for new iOS releases and I was no longer able to play it. A few days ago, while looking for something completely different in the App Store, I spotted a title called “Cave Quest 2.” “Could it be?” I thought? I abandoned my previous search and immediately downloaded the new Cave Quest app. I was delighted to find a new story and the very same gameplay mechanics that thrilled me so many years ago. If you are a match-3 fan, this is a MUST PLAY.
