There’s no clear flow to the game, you just click on the map every time a new area appears, unlike other games where you unlock doors or do other tasks to activate a new area. Additionally, the dialogue is awkward and characters range from the mansplaining male lead to a minor character that says “I’m fat so it’s hard to bend over”. Seriously? Must have played this a 100 times. Kept wishing they’d come out with a follow-up game. To find out, one was already out, “CAVE QUEST 2”. I love the follow-up even more (harder game and longer playing time and better story). I see they were trying to come out with Cave Quest 3 which looked like it would be awesome.
