Great drone synth, very nicely thought through. It needs auv3 then it will go from being a toy to being a decent little synth for drones. And then I’ll give you five stars. Also the ability to change the tuning of the synth.

### 4/5 — Be nice if it played in background

Boy is the App Store a mess these days. Says 1 review when I have one that i can edit but Apple only shows one of someone else’s. Double-digit IQs are killing us.

This app is fun but if this developer doesn’t add background play, then they relegate their app to just a novelty that you can’t even read while it plays in the background. ## 

Sounds great. I love the .01 rates on the LFOs! With both LFOs slow on different waveforms they almost phase in a ‘self-generating’ sort of way. They need more targets. Essentially everything could bd targets. Caves goes silent in the background, it doesn’t yet support playing in the background. That’s a bummer. But “Yikes”, to quote Leonard Hofstadter’s mother! 10 seconds after hitting Start and I’m drooling all over the place. Reset is an excellent idea! :-) I’m going to be going where no music has gone before! It also stops playing when my iPhone goes to sleep.

Now I can read about the Maya in my Kindle reader and listen to my favorite drones! Thank You! Very much. From a musical aspect, the only ‘other’ basic feature that I can think of is for ‘CAVES -‘ to play nicely with other apps, like a synthesized percussion app or another synth app like Moog Animoog app. B-}>

Just saw the update, not that I was constantly checking. :-) Now to check it out on iOS 17.6! Yahooo! OmmMmm… As Caves goes silent in the background, it doesn’t yet support playing in the background.
