As a DoorDash partner, I expected a streamlined service that would eliminate the frustrations of waiting for different orders to arrive. The appeal of paying a premium for this exclusivity made the service feel special. However, over the past year, I have experienced significant declines in customer service, particularly when mistakes occur. Refunds for missing items or undelivered orders are infrequent, leaving me questioning the reliability of the service. Moreover, the exclusivity I once enjoyed has diminished. The company has shifted to a model similar to other food delivery services, prioritizing order delivery based on proximity to the driver rather than the sequence of orders. As a result, my food often arrives cold. I am disappointed that the original promise of prompt delivery seems to have been abandoned. This will likely be my last year using this service, as I had hoped my feedback would prompt a return to their original commitment, but that has not been the case. They said wait an hour and never got it so I requested a refund again and they banned my account. So triple check the address you’re picking up from. In any case to make a long story short, this app has been signing me up to this dash pass nonsense, which I had no idea I was doing.
