## What is CAVOK?

CAVOK is a private digital pilot logbook for student pilots, private pilots, commercial pilots, and flight instructors operating under FAA Part 61.

Log detailed flights, see the experience your records support, and review what needs attention before you fly. No CAVOK account, no ads, and no social feed.

LOG FLIGHTS WITHOUT THE CLUTTER

• Record aircraft, routes, block times, total time, PIC, SIC, solo, dual, night, cross-country, and actual or simulated instrument time
• Track takeoffs, landings, holds, instrument approaches, simulator time, flight reviews, IPCs, checkrides, crew, instructors, and remarks
• Search and filter your flight history
• Duplicate a previous entry when you fly it again
• Display time as decimal hours or hours and minutes

REVIEW FAA CURRENCY EVIDENCE

• See day and night passenger recency by category and class
• Review IFR recency, flight review, and supported medical certificate dates
• Understand current, expiring soon, and incomplete evidence with requirement details
• Get optional on-device reminders 30, 7, and 1 day before supported items expire

CAVOK uses conservative record-based calculations. If your logbook does not contain the evidence a rule requires, CAVOK shows what is missing instead of assuming the requirement is met.

• Review totals for all time, year to date, 12 or 6 months, and 90 or 30 days
• Explore hours by month, aircraft type, category, and class
• Prepare with an experience report organized using FAA Form 8710-1 terminology

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Your pilot records stay on your device and, when iCloud is available, in your private iCloud database. CAVOK has no pilot account system or pilot-record server, and the developer cannot read your logbook. You decide when to export or share a file.
