Unfortunately this app is super basic at most and riddled with issues. Had problems signing up and topping up the account.. I have not tried taking out money yet. The investing went like this: - I opted for one high risk and one medium risk plan and let it run for two months.. high was a 3% - low was a 5% reflecting the market more or less.. During the time it did not change bonds or stocks but kept reinvesting marginal dividends.. I would not fire my broker over this app - or close any savings account but maybe in the long run it might pay off. **Developer response:** Hi, we are sorry to hear that. Alternatively you can use the CBD social channels to DM us your details as well. ### 1/5 — Useless app *2021-10-23, version 1.15.0* Portfolio kept on losing money from day one, Can’t say this was a good idea. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Crazy fees *2025-08-28* Better off using another app that charges a flat fee rather than this app. It’s basic, slow to withdraw funds from (up to 10 working days) and still they have the audacity to charge 1% cumulative buy + sell fees. Do your own research for an investment app but avoid this one. ### 1/5 — Does not support stop loss unlike other trading platforms. I lost my full money on CBD INVESTR *2025-08-08, version 3.4.14* Cbd investor app is not compatible to trade in complex situations. I lost my full money in a stop loss option while another normal trading platform has done the job during the same specific situation. When I checked with CBD investor, they simply washed their hand stating that this options has its own risk. But other normal trading platform done the same job without any delay or loss. I lost a huge money trusting the app otherwise I could have sold the stock at a better price. Once your money goes into their chosen funds it’s stuck there’s no active management of your portfolio. If market falls you fall with it like a rock. There’s no stop loss or exit strategy mechanism. You could simply do it yourself by investing gradually in the well known ETFs that follow market indexes like S&P 500 and save your self the commissions. Prices are not refreshing ### 1/5 — Worst bank *2022-08-31, version 2.12.3* I’m literally writing now from the petrol station and I can’t pay because my card has been blocked for no reason, on 23rd of August I received a message that I updated my kyc however today My car was blocked again at 05:04 pm, I called a lady called Muniba to assist me to unblock the card at least temporarily, begging her that I’m stuck in the petrol station and I can’t pay, she said I can’t do anything for you now, only tomorrow after 9 am, I said to her that I can’t wait till 9 am in the petrol station and asked to speak with someone senior or a manager to help me in this situation, but she said that she doesn’t have the option of transferring the calls. I don’t know what to say it’s just ridiculous, worst customer services.
