## What is CBDC SCB?

Mobile Application นี้สำหรับผู้ที่ได้รับคัดเลือกเข้าร่วมทดสอบการใช้งานสกุลเงินดิจิทัลที่ออกโดยธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย (Retail CBDC) โดยผู้เข้าร่วมทดสอบในโครงการ Retail CBDC นั้นสามารถใช้งาน CBDC ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเงื่อนไขที่กำหนด เช่น สามารถโอนหรือชำระค่าสินค้าหรือบริการในร้านค้าที่เข้าร่วมทดสอบ สามารถใช้งานได้เฉพาะช่วงเวลาที่กำหนดเท่านั้น
 
Retail CBDC เปรียบเสมือนธนบัตรในรูปดิจิทัล โดยมีคุณลักษณะที่สำคัญคือ
1. ผู้ใช้งานต้องมี Wallet ในการเก็บ CBDC 
2. Wallet นี้จะมีการจำกัดวงเงินในการถือครองของแต่ละคนตามเงื่อนไขที่ระบุใน Terms & Conditions
3. Wallet นี้รองรับการโอนหรือชำระค่าสินค้า ซึ่งร่วมถึงบริการในรูปแบบออนไลน์
 
เนื่องจาก Retail CBDC เปรียบเสมือนธนบัตรในรูปดิจิทัล  ซึ่งมูลค่าของ Retail CBDC นั้นคงที่และอยู่ในรูปสกุลเงินบาท โดย Retail CBDC ไม่มีความเสี่ยง (Risk-Free) เพราะออกโดยธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย
