You should still buy one of the test books. This study guide does not prepare a tester at all especially when it comes to the Literature portion of the real CBEST. Math problems that were given on this app are not even on nor even near what is on the real CBEST. Over all, this doesn't prepare oneself for the CBEST and I recommend going to a local bookstore for a study guide. You know, like we did in the old days with the SAT. ### 3/5 — Not suitable for Math prep *2020-07-02, version 6.7.9* I took the practice exams on here everyday at least 2-3 months prior to my CBEST exam and was getting good scores. I took my CBEST exam and flunked the math portion—almost none of the questions I studied on the app were related to the actual test, although in hindsight I should have used more than just one resource for studying. They also failed to fix a bug in the Math area in which the questions wouldn't scroll down so you could read the problem. There's no prep at all for the writing section, and I found multiple questions in the reading section for which the answer given by the app is incorrect. I could manipulate and modify the practice tests anyway I want. And it breaks down all parts of the math portion and the reading portion of the CBEST. But the best part of it is the study mode that allows you to look up an answer on a practice quiz, not only doesn't tell you which answer is correct, but it also says exactly why it's correct. The only drawback to this app is that it doesn't focus on the writing section. I strongly recommend this to all aspiring teachers who are required to pass the CBEST.
