Why is it every time this app needs an update I can’t reach my local weather page until I update. This time, after updating, still can’t reach the page for local weather. Only Raleigh and surrounding towns pop up. Was the local page removed? ### 1/5 — Update? *2025-11-05, version 502.0.2* App starts to load and then goes black since the update yesterday. I’ve deleted and reloaded- still same. Fix or it goes permanently ### 1/5 — Was good… *2025-08-05* This was my go to app for weather. Was. Apparently in the last few days they’ve redesigned the weather page. Now it’s totally garbage. Poorly thought out and designed as far as I’m concerned. App is going in my trash bin. Maybe I’ll look at it sometime in the future to see if these mistakes are reversed..but I doubt it. WRAL, whoever is responsible, did the same thing to their app. Was good. Also garbage, especially their weather radar. That’s about the only good thing that wasn’t changed in this app, but still, not wasting my time ### 3/5 — Search on App *2025-05-04, version 500.8.0* This would be a really good news app if you had a search box or button. ### 5/5 — Invasive Videos *2024-11-25, version 500.6.0* Open the app and a news video automatically opens and remains on your desktop even after you close the app. Very annoying! I deleted the app. ### 1/5 — Fixed bug *2024-02-24, version 500.1.1* Would like to have the old 17 app back. After whatever fix you fixed now I have giant letters and etc that your app has no settings for size. This only happened after the fix . Never had a prior problem before. I did prefer 17 over WRAL 5 app but now I use WRAL 5 that doesn’t have big giant letters, numbers etc especially on the bottom of 17 has letters on top of each other like blocks. ### 1/5 — Buggy app *2024-02-20, version 500.1.1* Enjoy watching CBS17 and used to enjoy the mobile app. Seems there is a conflict between the appa d iOS17.x - it keeps asking for initial data and regardless of how many times I enter said data, the app loops back to the initial data entry screen. Btw I used to like 17 app for news now I deleted 17 and use WRAL app. WRAL news app works fine no super size letters that are unreadable.
