The “geeks” need to stop imposing their idea of “cool”. Keep it simple and clean - stop over-thinking it - it has become too cumbersome to use. Now you have to scroll/hunt to find it, as the station is more excited to cross-promote with its news end. We get dumb useless video of smiley anchors, ads, ads, and more ads upon opening the app - no map, no weather info AT ALL until you scroll. Then you have to tap to enlarge and see more of what you used to see right away, which is what you need to see right away. Background gets in the way of everything as it bleeds through the information. There’s just way too much nonsense messing up what used to be the best, fastest, most functional weather app ever. Now it’s messy and confusing. You get commercials playing at the same time it’s impossible to navigate and it gives you no information except for 60 seconds that usually cuts off before they’re done talking. I rely on the weather apps to keep me out of the rain. I’m done using the app now because of how many times it has got me soaked or stuck somewhere. It will be raining hard where I am and there’s no rain on the radar map. If you’re looking for an app that tells you where it rained after it already happened then this is your app. Predicting further weather is one thing, but it can’t even accurately report current conditions.
