This app is not new and improved. I can’t even read or watch anything. As soon as I tap on it the app crashes and goes back to my home screen. Very disappointed. Wish I never downloaded it and left the old one that worked perfectly. Every time I get an alert I tap on it. It takes me to the article but as soon as I move it to read it the app crashes yet again. Should’ve just updated the old app that worked. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not what I had in mind *2023-12-05* I don’t understand how you could take a great weather app, with weather warnings and interactive maps and force the entire local news, which, I don’t want, on me. The anemic weather page is not even close to ok. I had to download the CBS Minnesota weather app to get the important weather information in the format I like for Philly area. Bring the weather only app back. If someone wants the news, let them decide what news app they want. ### 1/5 — Weather app *2023-04-15* The new weather app is poor compared to the previous one. I prefer a local report on the weather vs the data available on the major apps. Bit currently the major provide more details. I’ll use this one for a short while to see if it improves. If a article showed up on my notifications I was able to access that article easily by clicking it and it directly took me to that article. With this new upgrade I click on that article that popped up and it just takes me to the main page????? In search of the article. Which most of the times I give up. This new app is abysmal. It crashes constantly, to the extant that I haven’t been able to read a single story!
