Was very acceptable up to this last ‘update’ of site (news, presentation of subject and tec design). With respect to personhood, who put this presentation together? At the present, I barely even consider opening to this contact and yes, I spend too much time trying to make this work, trying to ‘ get the info’ that CBS was ‘supposed’ to present. Just get way too many. 12-15 in the span of a few hours. Ridiculous. ### 1/5 — This Day In History Constantly Starts Running *2021-06-25, version 1.3.0* I liked the old app much better. A month ago or so, anytime I would view articles for more than a moment, This Day In History would open up and run. I never click on it…it just opens up and runs. It covers the screen and prohibits viewers from seeing anything else. I emailed support and received no response. I have deleted the app and reinstalled to no avail. So they tease you into going to the app but you have to watch the whole news feed before you can see the actual breaking news you want to see! ### 1/5 — Dog 🐕 waiting at hospital 🏥 for owner *2021-01-22, version 1.1.0* There was a very endearing story at lunchtime Friday 1/22/21 of a dog 🐕 waiting for its owner at the hospital 🏥 entrance for a week and the the dog 🐕 even found its way back to the hospital 🏥 entrance after it was brought back home 🏡🤗😊🥰🤗 I searched all over the Channel 2 website for nearly 20+ minutes or more and could NOT NOT NOT find the same story 😓😥😭😢🥺😩😫 I also have a very loyal service dog 🐕 , a Jack Russel Terrier , Patches, & wanted to have a copy of this very HEARTWARMING 💖❤️ dog 🐶 story 🤗🤗😊🥰 ### 1/5 — No schedule *2020-12-27, version 1.1.0* I was expecting to be able to find the tv scheduled- if is in on the app it is not obvious where it is It would be nice to set my cbs local to a specific city I’m a big steeler fan and would like to watch it on the app when I don’t have access to tv ### 1/5 — Too Slow & Glitchy *2020-08-02, version 1.0.16* This app is useless because it is so slow and typically ends up freezing my phone. I finally deleted the app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — WORST APP EVER *2023-09-08* I gave this app 1 star because I had to it actually deserves zero stars! CBS chose not to support the KDKA weather app in lieu of this poorly designed app. As soon as I opened it I knew it was not a good substitute. There is no live radar maps, No weather warnings! I get a notification every hour about news not in my area but no weather warnings. Fortunately I downloaded a weather app from WPXI because it actually warned me of an approaching storm unlike your app. I have been a loyal KDKA watcher but with this app I will be finding another news station as well as deleting this app! ### 1/5 — I hate this app *2023-06-30* I’m going to be deleting it and looking for a new weather app. The KDKA Weather app was the only app I used for weather. I just saw it is no longer supported as of 3 months ago. Only today was I prompted to download this useless app. No radar. No hourly forecast. Cluttered with news stories. Deleting. Goodbye. ### 1/5 — Weather *2023-05-29* I want to set a default for the city and state on the weather app. Also, I liked the previous app that allowed me to save several cities and states so I could toggle between them. This is very helpful when traveling. I am now using WPXI weather app instead :( ### 1/5 — Terrible *2023-04-08* This app is not the least bit user friendly. It does not scale for use on a tablet so you need to squint at a phone-size image that doesn’t allow you to see any of the links on the right side of the screen. I am unhappy that it has been discontinued. This news app is a poor substitute. You haven’t made it easy to get the weather. The news app is not useful to me. It’s been deleted. It looks like clip art from the 90s and rather than provide radar and current details it only has excruciating videos to watch. It takes too long. I want weather at a glance not videos to have to sit through. Also the news stories are usually lagging the actual news. I don’t want to have to go through all the news, but I want to see what the weather map looks like. I am very disappointed. I am going to have to use this app instead of the old one. Now I can be alerted about top stories and weather. Easy to view and the new version is what you wanted. No pensions, no IRAs We even have to buy our own insurance. I believe that once you retire your insurance and dental, eyes, perscriptions, hearing aides SHOULD BE FREE. We paid into retirement all our lives. And because of that, it should all be free , even TAXES of all kinds. My husband and I hat $1,748 per month. Out of that we have lot rent, his and my two health policies both, gas for the car, food ( because they tell us we make to much) lol. Then you have birthday and Christmas. If it does I can always download either wtae or wpix news app in my phone. The old app never had this problem. Kevin ### 2/5 — Not a fan of the new cbs app *2023-04-01* Where is the “current” live weather map. The kdka weather app is going away but the cbs app doesn’t have the live radar. VERY DISAPPOINTNG! It used to be that I could open my local CBS app and see just my local news, sports, TV programming for the current day. Now I have to watch ads and search thru a bunch of stuff that doesn’t interest me.
