I guess a lot of folks want video but I prefer to actually read stories. If I wanted to watch video before I could always find but this video-centric update does not do it for me and makes it less likely that I will use it as much as I used to. Really wish you would rethink this one. Coming back two months later and another star decline. New app still stinks. I scroll for scores on it but that’s it. Really hope you reconsider this design/format. Some people actually like reading writers, not watching videos. Hope you change. Most of the time, I feel like I am learning something new. I could lose about 25% of the notifications and be even happier. It always improved each time they updated the UI. NOT THIS TIME! It’s truly horrible. Scrolling forever with massive images of cbs sports employee faces taking up my entire phone. Gone are easy-to-browse headlines. Now it’s just massive faces, images, video links (with ads) and eternal scrolling. And so for the first time in I don’t know how many years, I’m looking to move on. There’s lots of weird things with the expansion franchises like you can’t see the Valkyries tweets or the Fire and Tempo’s stats. And i’m assuming this will end up happening for any pro league that expands, people like seeing stats and tweets and stuff so just fix that. I would also say you need to add more NCAA sports to the app as well because that might make people more interested in different sports. Plus the new update is incredible. Otherwise amazing app. It was my first sports app i’ve ever downloaded! The one annoying thing that I wish they would address are the summaries where an algorithm praises or pans teams based on players who aren’t even playing. Today I got praised for my brilliance in starting a player over a different player (who has been on the IL for at least two months and has no timeline for returning). Yay me :/ Come on guys. There’s this new thing called AI you might have heard of.
