From that point it will say that it cannot see the corner of the check so you must tape them down. After another 5-6 tries your check will be accepted (if you’re lucky) I deposit at the branch usually because it’s faster than the app 🤣 ### 2/5 — Not the easiest for mobile deposits! *2025-06-28, version 8.0.19* It takes too long if I let the camera take the photo, so most of the time I have to take the photo manually! Extremely difficult when trying to deposit a check. Taking a picture of a check and centering the account number and endorsement are not easy. I had to go into the branch to make my deposit. CA Bank&Trust has a bigger issue than I’ve ever experienced with my old banking institution. You will not know who they are paying because all you see is numbers and the word purchase. Every entry should be clear. I’ve reported things because I didn’t know what it said. Until I can ready where my money is going I’m gonna keep reporting. ### 1/5 — Horrible Bank App *2025-06-29, version 8.0.19* This app always gives me trouble. Doesn’t load properly. Somehow shut off certain portions of the app and gives me an “error” message. I am not even a year into this bank and am so unhappy. I’m so sad that FirstBank transferred to this bank!! I had been with FirstBank for years and very much appreciated their 24-hr customer service and assistance, especially for somebody who travels during different tome zones. This bank downgraded terribly. ### 1/5 — New app view is awful *2023-11-18, version 8.0.0* Been with cal B&T for many years and they just switched the look of their app and when you view your transactions all you see are the transaction numbers and not what it’s for. You have to actually click on the transaction to see what was paid out (e.g., Amazon, Uber, etc). Probably ok if you're using a device other than a mobile phone. It’s ridiculous and needs to be fixed. Guess whoever created the app forgot it’s supposed to be a MOBILE APP, many of us use our phones to bank. Duh. So annoying could make me actually take the painful step of switching banks. ### 1/5 — New update useless *2023-11-16, version 8.0.0* Well it's been one day since their newest update and now I have to keep checking "save user name" each time I sign in. This is getting ridiculous plus no way to freeze your card/lock your card etc. still like every other banking app. These people are so behind the times it's not even funny ### 1/5 — Not a fan of new update *2023-11-15, version 8.0.0* This new update is really bad. It won’t let me use it in Landscape mode like the previous version. In looking at my transactions, it doesn’t show where they’ve been made, except I have to click on each one, each time, to see it. Then it takes me back to start page. It requires more of my time. The older version was far more efficient and easier. Great service and like family to me ### 5/5 — Online banking *2026-07-27, version 8.0.36* I’ve talked to a customer service (girl’s name is Lynn Werge) she walked me through the steps for accessing my online banking and despite my computer semi-illiteracy I was able to get it done easily. I really appreciate her insistence and care to make sure I’m able to do what I needed.
