Figure out a way to login with my credentials directly on the device I want to use for notifications. It’s a pain to deal with the QR code shown on a different device when this app logs you out frequently and you have to go through the process all over! Also, you won’t notice that CC notifier has logged you out until you start missing changes to your schedule and realize it isn’t working properly. ### 2/5 — Meeehhhh *2022-09-29, version 1.6* Please fix this app.. keeps showing I have a notification when I already looked at it. Sometimes it opens the wrong notification ### 1/5 — Notification badges still not fixed *2024-02-17, version 1.8.0* In settings they’ve added an option to get rid of the badges once they’ve been read. Doesn’t always work, so you have to completely close out the app and reopen it to clear the badges. Just like it was before they said they fixed it. 👎🏼 ### 1/5 — Notification badges still don’t clear Oct 2023 *2023-09-23* This is a free app so they don’t put any emphasis on making it work right. It’s been like this since it came out, and despite them saying they’re working on it or have fixed it, it’s still garbage. **Developer response:** Thank you for reporting this issue. We have implemented a new setting. If it's turned on, the notification count will be cleared every time you open the app. Hopefully this resolves the issue you are facing but if you have any additional questions or concerns fell free to contact us at support@crewcompanion.com. We can look into this further for you if the badges still aren't quite right. ### 1/5 — App on Home Screen shows msgs when there aren’t any *2022-11-18, version 1.7* The icons on my iPad and iPhone right now shows I have 16 unread msgs, but the reality is there are none. I read and then immediately delete the msgs from this app, but it still tells me I have unread msgs. I get it…this app is free so I guess I’m getting what I’m paying for. This is why I won’t pay for any of their other apps. 11/17/22 update. I think they’ve tried to fix but it’s either above their abilities or they have given up trying to fix it since this is a free app and they’d like to see us pay for what we had before. This app is garbage… ### 1/5 — Awful solution for CC notifications *2022-07-15, version 1.5* This app is insanely slow and clunky. No way to delete multiple notifications, no way to check all read at once. Push notifications come in slower than email notifications. Horrible alternative solution to the text message notifications. Unable to sign back in until you find another computer with QR code. Very cumbersome to delete trips as it sometimes takes three or four tries to delete them all. Features such as auto delete at some predetermined time would be very helpful. Frequently if you open the app, it doesn’t display any trips. Very buggy. However, in the course of opening the app and notifications I still get routine flashes of all bright white screen, even in dark mode. Any chance of getting rid of those flashes of white screen? I often check it in the middle of the night and it’s blindingly bright with that white background, no matter how low I have my intensity. If you see any additional ways we can improve feel free to contact us at support@crewcompanion.com. ### 4/5 — A decent solution to a problem *2022-09-03, version 1.5* Though the app isn’t great, it’s a good solution to a problem and doesn’t need to be fancy. There are definitely some features that would be convenient (multi-select for deleting or marking messages as read, unread message count indicator on the app icon, etc) the purpose of this app is clearly just to provide a free notification option now that text message notifications are no longer free. It works fine for me! If it doesn’t meet someone’s expectations they can pay for text notifications to get the same experience they previously had. ### 3/5 — Bug *2023-01-06, version 1.7.6* Latest version 1.7.6, app notification badge does not clear after you open the pairing alert ### 3/5 — Needs refining *2022-12-06, version 1.7* The notifications come through just as quick as any text I ever got. However, using the app needs refining. There are times where it looks like it’s trying to fully update a list of notifications and the symbol just circles and circles and circles. Sometimes when I try to click on something, I just get a white screen and nothing ever loads. ### 3/5 — Please make this more user friendly *2022-09-06, version 1.6* This app is a good solution to the texts. However, we need to be able to see more about the trip at first glance on the notification, like we could in texts. Maybe color-coding for open vs potentially open trips, like on the webpage. Also, I want to see on the front page notification: date, layover cities, how many days, pay. Then if I’m interested, I can click on the trip to learn more. I was able to see these details when I received a text. As it is now, I don’t have time to click on every notification. Now it just says a trip number and date which doesn’t tell me anything.
