WORKS OFFLINE
Everything — lists, cards, tracking, dice — works at the table with no internet connection.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking. Your lists and game data stay on your device.

If the app ever disagrees with an official card, the official card is always correct — and you can report any discrepancy from the support page so it gets fixed fast.

### 5/5 — Incredibly helpful!!

This app makes the game so much easier and fun. It’s well made, smooth to use, and the developers thought of everything. Well done.

### 5/5 — Amazing!!

*2026-09-23*

This companion is everything you will ever need to manage a game of SCBG. It’s intuitive, simple, and extremely helpful. On top of that, it’s free! Once you play a game with it, you’ll never play one without! It takes all the work of playing SCBG, and removes it. This app is very well made and once you use it, you’ll never go without!

### 3/5 — In Progress

*2026-09-01*

I have only just started to use the app but it could have some improvements. Mostly User Interface improvements. A main menu that lets me pick rules or build a faction, instead it asks for your name, callsign/username and sent me straight in building a Terran army. I closed and reopened the app and a main menu with several options appeared. Text was very hard to read when attempting to view cards, the background transparency to see the faction letters was very prominent. The app itself isn’t terrible, fairly easy to build an army with it but could use some UI upgrades/fixes would be the only suggestion to improve this application.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-17

What's New in 1.2.1

The battle screen is rebuilt around keeping score
• Victory points and the round are the screen now — no opening a tray to change either.
• Round, first player, mission and map share a single row. Tap the First Player badge to hand it over.
• Below that, browse the loaded list's faction card, tactics and units — including the upgrades you actually bought for each unit.
• Tap any card to read it full-height instead of scrolling a half sheet.
• Choose a mission or deployment map mid-game, and change one you picked by mistake.
• Set your opponent's name, race and list from their score area. Leave their race unset and their side stays neutral instead of picking a colour for them.

Army list builder
• The Add button stays put as units and cards come in — they arrive below it rather than pushing it out from under your finger.
• New Finish button: save a list and return to My Lists without starting a game.
• Discard now does the right thing in both cases — it deletes a list you just started, but on a saved list you opened to edit it undoes your changes and keeps the list.
• A finished list no longer comes back as "in progress" after a relaunch.
• Requirements are enforced as you add, not just flagged afterwards: with limits on, a unit that needs a faction card you haven't selected can no longer be added.
• A saved list keeps its race while you edit it, so a stray tap can't empty your roster.
• Mineral and vespene totals no longer wrap, and cards no longer drift as you add units.

Easier to read
• All readable text moved to a high-contrast tier.
• Confirmations are now drawn by the app, so their text is properly legible.
• List warnings appear as a tidy, collapsible list rather than one block of text.

Settings
• Keep Screen Awake — stops the display dimming while the app is open, for when it's sitting on the table between turns.

Also fixed
• My Lists always opens My Lists.
• Use in Battle takes you to battle setup with that list loaded.
• The battle intro no longer plays twice.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-01

What's New in 1.1.0

• New faction cinematics: a race-specific logo intro when you take a list into battle, and a VICTORY/DEFEAT sequence when you record a result.
• Share army lists by QR code, and scan to import.
• Track your opponent's list too, and preview any list before you pick it.
• Game records now save both armies, so you can see exactly what each side played.
• Filter your saved lists by faction.
• Swipe forward through the army builder (and back), and reach the summary faster.
• Thirteen worlds now greet you on the welcome screen, each shown before any repeats, plus a new alien "relic" world.
• Full iPad support: battle screens and dice scale properly to larger displays.
• New Reduce Motion setting, cleaner faction visuals, dice that shimmer on a hit, and a much smaller download.
• Various fixes and polish.
